I was surprised about the breakfest. The buffet was very good sorted and very fine placed.

we had booked a double, but upon arrival it was a small twin room, however we were moved to an excellent upgrade the following night without us even requesting this. very nice people there

The breakfast was excellent, one of the best I've had in Italy. Only drawback was the proximity to the main road and the lack of local places (within walking distance)for evening meals.

Sarah, Hotel Le Volpaie's desk manager was very pleasant, helpful and spoke very good English. All the staff were cheerful and courteous. Overall, we had a very good experience and would recommend this hotel for all travellers.

For today's traveller, access to a computer with internet capability is required for email, booking your next accomodation, 'map questing' directions to interesting sites in the area (vineyards, historical sites, etc.).

Very happy with the polite and cordial way in which the owners Anna and Lucca were prepared to help with anything we asked even though we do not speak Italian that well. Excellent breakfasts and great value for money. I will recommend to other people for sure.

We were put in a room that was just off the lobby and had 2 single beds, after some discussion were able to transfer to a quiet room with one large bed-we did not realize when we made the reservation what our options were exactly. It felt initially like we had a language issue but the owner stepped in and expidited our room switch. It was a great room.
