Profile

The tipycal stone-mill was built in the XIX° century on Vinci hills. Vinci, Leonardo 's native town, one of the most charming natural areas all over the Tuscany and Florence provinces. Steeped in the Montalbano Natural Park and surrounded by typical local vegetation, it is crossed by the Vitolini's Rio, with small and characteristic water falls.

These water falls were realized with stones by local inhabitants in order to lead the water to mill's "gora" whom massive stone structures are still visible. The excellent restructuration, characterized by the employment of original materials, preserved the primary style, giving prominence to typical architectonical structures.

"Il Vecchio Mulino Toscano di Vinci is apart from others house". At the same time, a modern and efficacious restoration, obtained with excellent equipments, and a wise interior decoration taking care of full details, make the Old Mill (Il Vecchio Mulino Toscano) an elegant and comfortable resort; a place where you can spend a very pleasant, relaxing and unforgettable holiday.

The interior decoration, mostly original antiques and country furnitures, re-creates the ancient atmosphere and the modern equipments offer the highest comfort (dishwasher, washingmachine, electric oven, microwave oven, sat tv, mibile phone: upon request ecc). A garden on varius levels makes possible the acces to the house both at ground floor and first floor, giving the opportunity to subdivide the night zone in three independent flats with two bedrooms and with own bath-room for more privacy.

Some bedrooms have direct access to the garden with Rio Vitolini view, some others to the terrace. In addition to varius pleasant and wide spaces, perfect solution for people looking for the life in the open air, there is a large solarium with a private uneven shaped swimming pool (about 60mq, available from may 12th to september 29th).
