 Casa del Fattore: Sleeps 8 - 160 sq.m. The Casa del Fattore is a sunny house situated beneath the castle surrounded by a garden with pool. A couple of steps shaded by a pergola of vines lead to the front door and a wide vaulted staircase taking you up to all the rooms. The living and the dining room are also furnished with Cervini family antiques whilst the crisp bedrooms are in friendly yellows, pinks and greens, with standard bathrooms. |
 The floors are in traditional antique terracotta tiles; the beamed ceilings and the large fireplaces are another reminder of Tuscan country living. The pool is on the south side of the house with day-long sunshine. For your al fresco meals you will find perfect shade from a century old chestnut tree where gentle breezes let you enjoy your summer meals. The village Vivo d'Orcia is a 10 minute walk from the house, and a local cook can come to the house to prepare meals. The living quarters on the first floor are composed of a living room with open fireplace, a dining room with open fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, 2 double bedrooms, 2 twin bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. The house has a telephone, dishwasher, washing machine and central heating. |
 Casa di Pietro: Sleeps 4 - 80 sq.m. A little apart form the castle stands a romanesque chapel - San Marcello - surrounded by old farmhouses which form a piazzetta where those living on the estate meet after dinner on warm evenings for a good chat. The entrance to Casa di Pietro leads off the "piazzetta". The house develops over two floors and looks out onto a private garden at the back. It was fully restored in the year 2001 and equipped with all the necessary comfort (washing machine, dishwasher, new kitchen and bathrooms, central heating). |
 The decoration of Casa di Pietro was a project of the daughter of the owners, Daria Cervini who invested a lot of time and love in choosing the right marbles, tiles and light fixtures for the kitchen and the bathrooms, and in finding the right material for the sofas and armchairs as well as having a few choice pieces of antique furniture from the castle restored. Beds and mattrasses are new and of good quality. At the back of the house a table and chairs have been set out under a pergola for meals outside. The ground floor is composed of a living room with open fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen with dining table. The first floor is composed of 1 double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom and 2 bathrooms (one with tub, the other one with shower) The house has a dishwasher, washing machine and central heating. |
