 Tenuta Le Viste and Tuscany offer hundreds of excursions and activities. It is the perfect starting point for day trips to Florence, a drive along the Chianti wine route to Siena or a visit to the world-famous hills of Tuscany. You can just relax, participate in your favourite sport or bike through the countryside reminiscent of Leonardo, Raffaello and Michelangelo.
If you prefer sporting active holidays, easy-going holidays or cultural holidays, the varied possibilities of organizing one's leisure time offers exactly the right activity for you. During the harvest of the olives you have the oppurtunity to hear more about the traditional way of life of that region. Do you want to learn to cook tipical tuscany recipes? Of course, you have also the possibility to eat in one of the numerous fine restaurants nearby and to taste the fantastic Tuscan cuisine. |
 To get here you turn onto a winding farm road, climbing up the hill past vineyards and orchards until you have left every vestige of the 20th century far behind. Your charming young hostess Alexandra, whose family has owned this estate for generations, will greet you and show you the many public rooms she has created for your relaxation.
Please note that staff is available until 11pm.
There are fireplaces galore, comfortable easy chairs, oriental rugs and ceilings of arched brickwork or massive wood beams. Breakfast is served in the cosy dining room in front of the ancient stone hearth, and in the afternoon she serves British tea or a choice selection of cocktails.
Although it is worlds away from the bustle of the city, Tenuta Le Viste makes a great base for day trips into Florence. Also nearby are the vineyards and hills of Chianti, waiting to be explored on foot, by car or by bicycle. Or just relax with a good book on the vast silent lawn or by the panoramic swimming pool. |
 Our Goats: Our Cashmere goats are raised organically in the Tuscan hillside, where mothers and their kids roam the cypress-lined pastures. We believe that animals can and should be raised in the most natural way possible, using all the products and by-products these wonderful animals produce. Our animals graze uncultivated and abandoned farmland - turning weeds into profit - and produce the very fine Cashmere fiber used in our handwoven articles and the fresh wholesome milk for our skincare products. |

 Tennis Courts: You need only 10 minutes by car to arrive at the sports club Assi. They do not offer only tennis and other different kinds of sport to practise, but also a fabulous view of Florence and the old etruscan city Fiesole.
Golf Course: at 20 minutes by car there is a famous 18-pockets-golf course, situated in a wonderful landscape. "Golf Club Dell'Ugolino" at Impruneta is appropriated for beginners and for advanced players. You are invited to play professional matches or just to enjoy playing golf.
Horseback: Only a few minutes of distance you find a horse stable which organizes rides in the surroundings for living unforgettable moments on horseback. There are also instructors available for beginners. |
