By car: travelling along highway A12 (Genova-Livorno) in either direction, exit at "Versilia" and follow the signs towards "Pietrasanta". At the first roundabout, turn right. You are now on Viale Apua. Drive to the far end of the street (a T junction) and then turn left at the traffic light in the direction of Viareggio. After about 300m, there is a petrol station (IP) on the right hand side. Take the "third" left after this petrol station ( Take care, as the three roads are narrow, and it is easy to miss them!. The third left is called Via V: Bellini, but this sign is only visible from the other direction! Other signs visible are the hotel H.A.N. and the H.Mediterraneo'). Once your are in Via Bellini, drive on until you reach the "third" STOP sign, then turn right into Via Catalani. Then take the first street on your left (before hotel Airone). You are now in Via Indipendenza. Drive to the far end of this road, and in front of you is a large pair of green gates, with a yellow villa inside. You have arrived at Villa Viviana. Ring the bell to receive a warm welcome!
By train: the nearest railway station is Pietrasanta on the line Genova-Livorno, the reilway station is 3,5 Km from Villa Viviana. Only a few trains stops in Pietrasanta so you may reach Viareggio station (approximately 10 km). From Pietrasanta and Viareggio the easyest way is to take a taxi and show our address to the driver and then you will be easily taken to Villa Viviana.
By plane: the nearest airport is Galileo Galilei in Pisa. Pietrasanta is at about 40 km from the airport. The easiest way is to rent a car but you can also catch the train or the bus.
By boat: the nearest harbor is Viareggio. From there you can take a taxi or you can reach Pietrasanta by bus. |
