We have a 700mē garden and swimming pool that is illuminated by night.
There is a barbecue, a table with chairs and sun beds, and an outdoor shower so you can enjoy the garden in summer time. |
The house offers you all the amenities for a hassle free self catering holiday. The kitchen is fully equipped with dishwasher, coffee machine, and dishwasher. We can also arrange for a baby's cradle, and table tennis. Parking space is available in the grounds. |

 The Villa is at 800 metres from Sassetta, a cute medieval village that has restaurants, grocery shops, souvenirs, ATMs, chemist, post office, and a bank.
The territory of Sassetta has a rare beauty and the woods that surround the medieval village, mostly of chestnut and oaks, are rich, are fascinating and mysterious. It is this that perhaps characterises best Sassetta and its surroundings, a beautiful and nearly primitive wilderness. Many powerful families have had control over the tiny town, the most ancient of these are the Pannochia of the Pisana family of Orlandi who dominated the village for four centuries.

 In 1405 Sassetta followed the destiny of many castles, and passed into the hands of Florence, when the family of the Gherardesca, who in those years have ruled the castle, accepted the act of submission to the Florentine Republic.
The historical centre of Sasseta, dominated by the castle, is formed by continuous interwoven alleyways and passageways, that give a strong sensation of serenity and peace.

Sightseeing:
Elba, 60 km distant is easily reached by car (and ferry from Piombino)

Swimming is possible in all seasons at the thermal swimming pools in Venturina, ( 35 km), water temperature 37 degrees. |
