 Villa Il Castagno
The Villa has two floors, each one has with its own terrace. The house with 9 + 6 beds is 160 sq.m. with external paving and well furnished. It comprises of a ground floor with kitchen, living room, dining room, bathroom and veranda. The first floor has three bedrooms, three bathrooms and two terraces with a beautiful views over the surrounding Pian Delle Vigne valley and you can even see Sassetta lower down through the trees.
The east facing terrace presents a view across the Pian Delle Vigne valley to Sassetta. The main entrance is on the ground floor at the rear of the building and leads into a large living room which contains:
- on the right of the entrance is a door leading to a bathroom where there is a washing machine.
- 2 very comfortable sofa beds each capable of sleeping two persons, (either as two singles or one double bed).
- a large wood dinning table capable of seating 12 people.
- across the room on the right there is a kitchen area with all the necessary cooking equipment and dishwasher, electric oven, gas burners and fridge freezer. There is a breakfast table with wooden benches.
On the left there is a fireplace and at the far end there is a door leading out into the garden and barbecue where there is a table for outside dinning.

 The stairs leading to the first floor open out onto the landing where, where, on the left, there are two sofa beds, a cupboard and french windows leading out onto the balcony that overlooks the swimming pool. On the right there are three doors, each leading to a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. In the first room there is a double bed, a single bed and cupboards. In the second room there is a double bed, a sofa bed and a cupboard. The third bedroom is equipped with double bed, a sofa bed and a chest of drawers.From the second and third bedrooms one has access to a shared balcony with panoramic views. This balcony with its lovely view and situation is a very pleasant place and it is furnished with two plastic tables and 12 chairs as well as 4 reclining chairs. There is an outside shower in the garden. Should it be needed the house is centrally heated. |
 Apartment D - Dalia
This apartment is on the first floor above the others and is aprox. 100 sq.m. Aproaching the apartment from the garden on the west side of the house one enters the living room via 2 steps. In front of this entrance is a 100 year old oak tree under which there is a table and chairs for outside dining. Entering the living one sees an open fireplace opposite, and the cooking area on the left with oven, burners, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Between the fireplace and the cooking area is a table for 8 people. During winter months the apartment is centrally heated. In the living room there is two single sofa bed accomodating 2 people plus one furniture containing one bed and a satellite TV. From the living room one has access to a large terrace equipped with table and chairs for outside dining. The terrace is rather special in it's location among the chestnut trees. The living room leads to the two bedrooms each with bathroom. Both have a double bed and the larger of the two also has a single bed. Both bathrooms are well finished with shower cabinets and the larger of the 2 also has a washing machine. |
 Apartment E - Erica
This apartment in on the ground floor on the south side of the house. The main difference between this apt. and the others is that apt. Apartment E
has no architectural barriers and the bathroom is equiped for the diasbled. During winter months the apartment is centrally heated. From the garden on the east side one enters the living room, in front of this entrance there is a table and chairs for outside dining. Inside the house on the left is the cooking area with oven, burners, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Opposite the kitchen is a table and chairs for inside dining. In the living room there is a sofa bed accomodating 2 people (either as a double bed or two single beds), and a satellite TV. From the living room one enters the bedroom which has a double bed and a single bed and a cot, from the bedroom one has access the bathroom. In the living room there is a communicating door to the other ground floor apartment, should the two be rented together. |
 Apartment F - Fresia
This apartment in on the ground floor on the north side of the house. From the garden on the north side one enters the living room, in front of this entrance there is a table and chairs for outside dining. Inside the house on the right is the cooking area with oven, burners, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Opposite the kitchen is an open fireplace and table and chairs for inside dining. During winter months the apartment is centrally heated. In the living room there is a sofa bed accomodating 2 people (either as a double bed or two single beds), and a satellite TV. From the living room one enters the bedroom which has a double bed and a single bed and a cot, from the bedroom one has access the bathroom. In the living room there is a communicating door to the other ground floor apartment, should the two be rented together. |
