We arrived early, not expecting to be able to check in until 3 p.m., but wanted to make sure we could find the villa. Upon arrival they said that we wouldn't be able to get our suite until at least 4 p.m. due to the wedding guests who had not checked out. We were very disappointed because we only had one night to spend, but they checked and found a suite that was ready for accupancy immediately and offered it to us. The suite was beautiful and we accepted immediately.

We arrived on Saturday and were told that the dining room was not open yhat evening due to the fact that they had had a wedding there the previous day. We were offered a pasta dish which was poor quality, and overpriced. We asked for ice cream (gelati) which seems was not available, and they presented us with a desert of their making (not good). This villa is in a remote area and there was no other dining facility nearby. We were extremely disappointed. Also there was supposed to be a wine tasting, but that was also cancelled and no welcoming drink was offered.

This is a beautiful place, and the accommodations are exceptional. I would recommend it highly and would stay there again. I believe this was an exceptional happening.

A MOST FANTASTIC VISIT WHAT A WONDERFUL HOTEL FABULOUS FOOD AND THE STAFF ARE JUST SO FRIENDLY AND HELPFULL. OVERALL A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE ONLY MARRED BY THE WEATHER!
