Profile |
The name of Talente comes from the family that owned the villa and surrounding estate for many generations, the first dating as far back as to the fifteenth century. Francesco Talenti and his son, Simone, played a part in the construction of Florence's Duomo. Villa Talente nestles among the world famous Tuscan hills - right in the heart of Chianti Classico country to be more exact - among olive groves, grapevines and cypresses. |

The facade is opened up by a well-proportioned loggia at basement level, whilst two arches of a second exquisite loggia span out on the floor above, symmetric to the one below, housing hunting scenes overlooking the valley. |
The main entrance, adorned with the arms of Buon Talenti, with a grand fireplaceand a small fresco – almost a window overanold-fashioned Tuscany landscape – opens onto a precious loggia, shaded by a giant cypress that seems to protect it. The rear facade of the villa is particularly attractive due to the wise exploitation of the vertical descent between the building entrance floor and the wide panoramic terracing which has been adjusted as a garden in the back. |
