Villa Somelli is a very fine place with nice, tidy apartments. The garden with it's swimmingpool is spacious and very well maintained.
Francesco, who runs the place, is allways at your service, helping with the needs you might have.

Villa Somelli is a very nice villa with the accomodations you'll need. The apartments are nice, the garden with it's swimmingpool is well maintained and spacious, and the surroundings are like a postcard from Tuscany. It is ideally placed near Empoli, which makes daytrips all around Tuscany easy by train or car. What really makes the place stand out, is Francesco. He is at your service whenever you want, and can help you with everything from travelling tips to dinner bookings and wineyard visits.

The property has a beautiful view from the garden if the owner would cut some of the trees i front of the house. Not all but those that are merely bushes.

Villa Somelli offered a very pleasant stay for the week we where there. We where 8 persons, 4 adults and 4 children, and there where space for all of us. The kids also loved the place (especially the tower room, garden and swimming pool). The location is ideal to visit all the nearby cities and areas like Florence, Lucca, Siena, San Gimignano, Chianti etc.
We would not hesitate to book the place again.

We came from a different direction than that originally planned, and once we had got through Cecina, the directions were very clear.

Clearer directions from the main road would have been helpful. Maybe a sign at each turn once we leave the main road would be of assistance.

A more up to date photo of the pool area would be attractive to guests. It is better than the published photo.

Villa Somelli is a Tuscan dream. Spacious, clean rooms with 'to die for views'. The managers are very welcoming and helpful.

Ideal place to stay regarding to the turistic cities of Tuscany. It is a quiet place to stay and nice landscapes. You feel really at home !!!
