"Villa S.Mario a Natreta" is a splendid dwelling inserted in an ancient medieval village. A Church and an ancient convent constructed around to year 1,000, have given origin to this prestigious Villa. With passing of the time the several Noble families that are themselves succedute in the property have supplied to widen and to improve the residence. Around 1700 the Noble families that possessed the villa, granted it in a "canonicato" with the Church of Rome. |
At the beginning, it was the canonical "Migliorati" to having in management the residence and after he other canonical ones of Church were caretakers. This has allowed to preserve the Villa till our days. The Villa has been recently restored with maniacal cure in the particular and ancient taste, in the maximum respect of the native fascination. |
