The staff was very welcoming and considerate. We had misplaced the printed directions and had to call on the way in - they gave us excellent directions over the phone. ... The property is lovely and gives one the feeling of your own private villa. We were able to dine outside or indoors each day at our pleasure. The staff offered wonderful recommendations for visits in the area for our 5-year old son. The food was excellent. ... Pleasant, courteous and straightforward. ... There is an Etruscan tomb on the front lawn which guests can go right up to and look at - it's quite impressive.
The one downside - there is no bar or lounge for cocktails. Fortunately the owners were very kind in helping us with drinks one evening after dinner but we felt awkward disturbing them while they were having their own dinner in another area of the dining room. Still, they were most accomodating. ... 'your own private villa in Tuscany' 'a fantastic location'

Vrey helpful-when we requested a different room it was no problem. ... I had visited before and therefore lnew what to expect. ... I had to pay for a friend`s account as their credit card had not worked- it is worth taking an imprint of cards to be used so that writing down wrong numbers is avoided. ... Very much a `Home from Home`- high quality furniture and fittings, an imaginative conversion of an old monastery, quiet, very helpful staff. Only downside- very hard beds!
