Villa La Bianca was such a gem. Very romantic ...they gave us the Bridal Suite...four poster bed all furnishings in white. It is hard to find ...and not in Lucca at all ...it is in Camaiore which is about 40 minutes from the walls of Lucca.
The food in their La Brilla Restaurant was awesome...try their homemade olive oils. Yum.
And even their house Vino Rosso was wonderful.
We definitely will be back!

The staff were brilliant and the accomodation and setting was better than expected.

Very secure property. Not hassled in any way. Staff were very trusting allowing you to take refreshments from the fridge and writing it in the book nearby. Could leave the key in your door at all times without any worries.

Beautiful surroundings, quiet, well maintained. Lovely swimming and garden area.
Interesting local walks.

To stay at a wonderful Italian Farm like Vill la Bianca with all it's charm and beautiful garden (and Restaurent La Brilla) is a much greater experience than a Beach Hotel. After all it is only about 8 km. from the Villa to the Beaches of Lido di Camaoire.

The receptionist was wonderful and very helpful. Very gracious.

I was a bit disappointed that some of the waitstaff in the restaurant obviously did not like Americans.

This is a very nice and easy way to locate quality properties. There is so much out there to look out that is a treasure to have the list narrowed down.

I might have missed this area as my main concern was booking rooms, however, an section on the site with restaurants or special winery dinners would have been very beneficial as well.

This property is lovely. It was more enjoyable than we anticipated. Unfortunately our time there was shorter than we liked, so we were unable to take advantage of everything on offer (tours, on-site restaurant, suggested walks)

The check-out times posted in the room and on the voucher were very different. Voucher says check-out before 9 a.m., the room stated 12:00 noon. Perhaps these could be updated to better reflect actual times.

They offer a fabulous local breakfast. We awoke both mornings to the smell of fresh bread. The food was well presented as well.

Vittorio welcomed us, showed us around the property, spent time answering our questions about the wines available for sale at Villa la Bianca and was a very gracious host.

Great common areas -- we had the bedroom that was shown on the website and it was lovely -- very spacious!

It might be good to make clear that it is actually located at the edge of a town, rather than out in the country on a secluded property.

It is a lovely place -- both the grounds and the building were very nice. We did expect it to be more 'in the country' than it was; there is a rather busy street that runs right past the property. However, we did not have a problem with noise, and the little grocery shop down the street was quite handy.

The apartment was on the ground floor and was next to the road [the walls were actually at the road] what make it a little noisy.

I would recommend expanding the details about the restaurant. The food was very, very good ;-)
I would state that the villa with the apartments is located in the separate building that is next to the road [comparing to the main building with the rooms that are 'hidden' in the middle of the spacious grounds].

This is the place to wake up and enjoy every minute of your breakfast. Just look at the mountains, breath the brisk air of mid September morning and await the hot day.

Wonderful place, excellent ambience and interesting/friendly staff. Stayed in apartment Ortesie, plenty of rustic character. Menu slightly limited but should not stop anyone wishing to visit. Chianti wine was also very good and reasonably priced by the bottle.

I would like to compliment the staff at villa Bianca on their friendliness. They made avery effort to make our stay comfortable. Their food was exceptional and the care taken in ensuring our comfortable stay was greatly appreciated.
We had a wonderful stay and we compliment all staff of Villa Biance on their hospitality.

The only recommendation I could make with regards destinations such as Villa Biance is to highlight the name of the nearest train station and approximate distance to these establishments.

on site restaurant was closed on Tuesday nite and food not fabulous on Wednesday nite. Continental breakfasts were wonderful though.

we left early AM and had to be checked out by the chef who had no clue as to room charges, etc. Not a real problem, though.

after reaching Camaiore, one should follow signs to Lombrici, the town just after Villa la Bianca.

We found it somewhat fague. When we arrived at the parking the directions to the reception or to the place where we could speak to someone of the villa were also very fague. The first 10 minutes we were wandering and looking in the house for someone to talk to. We did not know if we could have dinner or not, or what we could ask for. We had to sort it out ourselves. It was a little bit strange.

The room we had was at the site of the road. Early in the morning, at five, there was already traffic that woke us up.
Overall we liked the villa, it was very romantic, beautifull garden and the food was good., especially diner!

Accounts for restaurant were processed separately from the accommodation. This necessitated going up and down 2 floors to settle the account. Visa machine had broken down on day of departure.

Lights were not working and the entrance was very dark - we could not see where to park.

I have stayed at Villa Bianca previously and was much happier with the room I had before. We had a cot in the room and there was hardly any room to move around. I was a bit disappointed.

An ok place to stay but the food and accomodation was average. Nothing spectacular about the service. You just felt that you were left to get on with things. There were not many staff members around to answer any questions.

The place position doesn't suite travellers, as it's farway , the perssonel are kinde, but most of the time you don't find anybody, and it's almost impossible to have information.
The room is very basic , and hasn't the value for the price !!! (145 euro).
