We loved Hotel Villa Domizia, it's locations, its private beach, the restaurant terrace and bar with a view of of their private beach and the mediterranean sea from our romantic balcony view. The front desk staff and the restaurant staff were very accomodating though few spoke English but were very patient with our Italian. Most of the guests are wealthy Italian families on vacation and a few French tourists. The only limitation was that their room internet connection was not able to handle our laptop so we had a to go to an internet cafe which was a good turn of events. We discovered the life in this little hamlet at the entry towards Porto Santo Stefano and it's charming stores and people were wonderful. Porto Santo Stefano itself was charming. Another little problem which we got used to was that the 'double' bed really means two twin beds put together. We still enjoyed ourselves and highly recommend this to anyone who can speak a little Italian.

We loved the staff: Maria Altagracia, Petri, Paolo, Iliana, Alberto and the maids. We did not get the name of three men - a slender young man that greeted us at the front desk arrival and another tall young man who was frequently at the front desk, as well as a more mature gentleman who was very helpful at the front desk and also the bar area.
