It was very hot when we checked in. Many years ago, also on a very hot day, we checked into a hotel in Maui, HA, USA and were greeted with a glass of cold fruit juice. To this day, we measure every hotel by that experience.

Our room was surprisingly elegant...with a great terrace.
Great cinghiale in La Limonaia. In Pienza, four years earlier, we were told cinghiale was not in season. When we asked if cinghiale was in season, your waitress said, 'Of course, this is Maremma.' What a great response.

Pool not in use on arrival.
Evening meal arrangements re pricing not explained at arrival or explained in the information in room.This led to delay and misunderstanding and disatisfaction on my part when checking out.
This took the edge off an otherwise enjoyable stay.

Very friendly staff - outstanding restaurant and food. We really enjoyed our stay and thought it excellent value for money.

The restaurant in the grounds serves the most scrumptious local food and excellent wines.
Our only thought on improving the facilities was to have tea and coffee available in the rooms and have a bar area for late night drinks.

Gorgeous hotel nestled in the rolling hills of Southern Tuscany. Beautiful grounds and elegant pool looking out towards montemerano. A restful place to stay.We loved it.

All 3 couples thought the location was superb! We had a wonderful stay and would go back again.

The location is very quiet, like a home away from home. We enjoyed using the common room to get together before going out in the evening. It was like having our own villa. We thought the breakfast was wonderful-many choices. The swimming pool was immaculate and inviting. The property is very spacious and well lit at night.

The pool area is not actually at the hotel area. You had to actually walk a small amount to get to the pool area.
