As we drove a car for first time in europe directions were difficult by road. They are 3-4 miles from the walled city on the edge of many apartment buildings. There are few close by retail services. The building was a very old farm house however. Very beautiful spacious room. The hosts were very accomodating with an above avg breakfast. Little english was spoken but we were given very good directions drawn on our maps. Overall, a very good value in an expensive area. ... Onr key point concerning # 9 above. the web indicated this place was an easy walk to the walled city. As parking was very difficult I chose it thinking we could walk to the city. It is a ways from the historic part. Tough to drive downtown, we got the hanf of it somehow always seeming to get back home a different way.A very residential area.Parking is 150 to 300 yards away. ... Did not charge for lirers of water used from in room fridge, little things like the second expresso with a smile was very much appreciated. ... see above comment on distance to historic city and limited parking near building ... A great place for the money. a really cool building in a slightly wierd location. A 400 year old farm house on the edge of 20,000 people in apt buildings.
