From the Railway station
Take bus n. 9 and get off in "Via Dante" (the last stop). Note the sign to "Montalbuccio-Cassia-Castello di Belcaro", the street goes downhill. After few meters you'll pass under an ancient arch, we are on your left hand side at house n.81.
By Car
From south (highway A1/from Naples) take exit "Bettolle" and drive all along the SS Bettolle-Siena. Take the Tangenziale towards Florence and exit at Siena "Acquacalda". Follow signs to "Petriccio" and, once you have turned right twice, you'll arrive into "Via Dante". Note the sign to "Montalbuccio-Cassia-Castello di Belcaro", the street goes downhill. After few meters you'll pass under an ancient arch, we are on your left hand side at house n.81.
From North (highway A1/from Milan) exit at Firenze Certosa, follow green signs for Siena (take "raccordo Siena-Firenze") and exit at Siena "Acquacalda".
Alternative route
If you reach Siena city centre, follow signs to "Stazione" (railway station) and then signs to Florence. At the first traffic lights turn right and at the second one turn left towards "Petriccio". You'll arrive anyway into "Via Dante".
By Plane
The nearest airport is located in Florence. The shuttle bus will take you to the main railway station S.M. Novella, from where you can take a bus or a train to Siena. |
