| | | The vineyards cover an extension of nearly 50 hectares: the dominant variety is Sangiovese, but some Cabernet and other international varieties have recently been planted to obtain a superior quality wine. The estate has a very important historical tradition, being it mentioned in a document dated 1348, when the Villa was purchased by the Buondelmontis, an aristocratic family from Florence. |
The property now belongs to the Branca family, which is currently investing its energy in selecting the best clones and training systems in the vineyards, as well as in adopting new technologies in the cellar which guarantee a perfect vinification and maturation of the wine. |
Each unit is tastefully furnished with elegance and charm, where the typical terracotta floors and the wooden beams on the ceiling are a sign of old Tuscan tradition. Outside a spacious garden is at the disposition of the guests. Our staff will provide you with all the main information of the area and with an updated restaurant list. We will be happy to welcome you at Tenuta Villa Branca and make your holiday a memorable one. |
