Join Tuscany traditions with style, elegance and charm! Villa Bianca Hotel is your chance to experience real Tuscany taste in a charming, refined atmosphere. The Villa was owned until a few year ago by Professor Zingarelli, one of fathers of the Italian language. It is located in Gambassi Terme, a small village famous for its spa facilities and its location on the Medieval road the Via Francigena.

This ancient 19th century Villa has been completely restored by its new owners, the Giomi Family, and improved in style, class and hospitality by Hotel Board of Directors, Mr Mario Costagli, who personally managed the design of the rooms.

Gambassi Terme is renowned for its fine glass production.
The Elsa Valley has been documented since the beginning of the 13th century as a centre of glass production. The first beaker furnaces were located near Gambassi Terme and Montaione nearby the woods and raw materials necessary for glass making.

The beaker makers or "Bicchierai" of Gambassi worked in the village and then outside the territory, throughout Italy. With them they took their technology which was perfected in the Venice area with the world renowned Murano Glass. A permanent exhibition displays important  archaeological and historical research of the area
