- At what time can we check-in and out?
Check In from 4pm until 7pm, Check Out before midday. Please let us know in advance what time you intend to check in. - Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
The price is per week or per day, for the entire villa. - Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
No breakfast is not included; the villa is self-catering.
- Is heating included in the price?
No, heating is not included (metered); the house has floor-heating which is seldom needed during the rental season. - Can we settle the bill on arrival?
No, the balance must be received prior to arrival. - Which languages are spoken at the reception?
We speak English and German. - How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
The house is multi-leveled, with 4 levels in total and the levels separated by no more than 6 steps. There is no lift. - Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
The villa is quite large (420 m² / 4,400 ft²) and the bedrooms are situated in such a way, that each guest/couple is offered a bit of privacy. - Are linens and towels provided or do I need to bring my own?
Yes, for those staying one week there is a linen and towel change on Wednesday; for those staying more than one week there is an additional towel/linen change on Saturdays. - Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
There are multiple private terraces, each with its own unique and magnificent view of the Chianti hills. Off the kitchen is a large terrace on the opposite side of the house off the living room is another large terrace. Both terraces offer seating for 10. Also one of the bedrooms (bedroom 1) has a private terrace. - Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
One of the bedrooms has a balcony. - Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
Yes, the entire villa is non smoking. - Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite TV)?
Yes, there is a wide screen, satelite TV (SKY) in the living room. SKY service provides numerous international channels. - Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
No, but a mobile phone with a charge is provided. Credit can be added to the phone (sim card) at the bar in Panzano. - Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
Although the thick stone walls ensure that the villa remains comfortably cool in the summer, each bedroom is outfitted with a ceiling fan ideal for use in the hottest months. The second bedroom on the third level also has an air conditioning as it only has one window. Also all windows are screened. - Is there a dining room where we could sometimes all dine together?
Yes, the kitchen is quite large and has a table with sitting for 10. - Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
Yes, there is a desktop computer with Internet access as well as a LAN connection for personal laptops. - Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
Yes, there is: the salt water swimming pool is open during the entire rental season. It is 15 mt long and tiled in marble. The entire pool area is private. - Is parking or garage available?
Yes, parking is available with space for 4 to 5 cars. - Where can we rent a car?
Either at the airport or in Florence. - Are there grocery stores or supermarkets in the surroundings?
Yes, there are several small grocery stores (green grocer, butcher, etc) in Panzano (3 km north of the property). - Are there vineyards nearby?
Yes, there are many wonderful wineries in the area! - How far is Florence, Siena, Pisa from the Property?
Florence: 36km (50min), Siena 33km (45min), Pisa 95km (90 min). - Which is the nearest village or town?
Panzano (3km north, 5 min drive, 50 minute walk). - Which is the nearest airport?
The nearest airport is the Florence airport. - Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
No, but we can organize it upon request. - Which is the nearest bus-stop?
The nearest bus stup is in Panzano. Tickets can be purchased at the bar in Panzano. - Which is the nearest railway station?
The nearest railway station is in Florence. - Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
Yes, there is a private gym outfitted with state of the art fitness equipment (stationary bicycle, true treadmill, rowing machine and hand weights). - Are pets welcome?
Sorry, no pets. We have 2 small dogs which are a little jealous. - Is there a restaurant in the Property?
No, but two of our favorite restaurants are within a 5 minute drive. - Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
Yes, you can: there is a LAN connection for personal laptops.
