History and Family Winchler family, living in Tuscany from the 18th century following grand duke Pietro Leopoldo of Lorene, has owned for many generations a farm in Mercatale Val di Pesa on the Chianti street that from Florence goes to Siena. Within this farm there were many rustic buildings for sharecroppers and one owner villa of the 16th century for owners' holidays. Going along the Chianti street that passes at the top over a crest one enters the various Chianti valleys passing over Impruneta, Greve and the other villages famous for wine and oil and can enjoy very beautiful views. |
