Sara,, the Receptionist, greeted us and showed us the Common Rooms, as well as introducing us to Axel, the Wine Expert and Waiter at the Villa. She then showed us to our room, which we thought was lovely.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at the Relais Villa Baldelli. Our room was perfect and at night you could see the lights of Cortona in the distance. The grounds were beautiful and the breakfast buffet very inviting and plentiful. We are not breakfast people, but when in Italy...! When we opened the shutters in the morning the light shining on the hills was beautiful with church bells chiming in the distance. The staff, especially Sara and Axel, were very gracious to us.
We would not hesitate to stay at the Relais Villa Baldelli on our already planned return to Tuscany.

I would definately recommend Relais Villa Baldelli to anyone traveling to Italy. It was by far the nicest place that we stayed while on our 2 week vacation in Italy. I hope to be able to visit there again.

The hotel was very pleasant and we were well treated.
When booking I got the impression that the hotel was in Cortona town itself not some miles outside. I think you should make clear the distance the hotel is from Cortona Town.Also instuctions as to how to find it would be useful as the signs on the main road are not complete.
