• At what time can we check-in and out?
  Check-in: from 5 pm to 7 pm.
  Check-out: before 10 am.
  
• Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
  The prices are per apartment.
• Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
  The price of the apartments does not include breakfast.
• Is heating included in the price?
  No, heating is not included.
• Can we settle the bill on arrival?
  Yes, you can.
• Which languages are spoken at the reception?
  We speak English.
• How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
  There is ground floor and first floor and no elevator.
• Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
  Yes, our apartments are very quiet and private.
• Are linens and towels provided or do I need to bring my own?
  The price includes linens and towels.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
  No, they have not. A large garden is at our guests' disposal.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
  The apartment Villa Avanella 1 has a balcony.
• Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
  No, we have not.
• Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite or cable TV)?
  Not at the moment.
• Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
  No, there is not.
• Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
  There is no air conditioning.
• Is there a dining room where we could sometimes all dine together?
  In each apartment there is an ample dining area.
• Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
  Not at the moment.
• Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
  There are two swimming pools: one (10 X 20 m) with sun panel shower situated near the Villa and the Barn; the other one (9 X 4 m) is situated near the apartments.
• Is parking or garage available?
  Yes, parking is available.
• Where can we rent a car?
  I can suggest also the transfers with driver from and for the airport (Florence, Pisa, Milan, Rome) and to the arrival to Villa Avanella , you will find your rented car in the carpark that you can use for all the period of your stay.
• Are there grocery stores or supermarkets in the surroundings?
  In Certaldo (4 km) guests can find all kinds of shops.
• Are there vineyards nearby?
  Yes, there are many independent vinyards owned by small local farmers. Certaldo province or San Gimignano province has many vinyards some taking in the Chianti region. However, many guests also take charming drive to the Chianti region and other important wine producing areas.
• How far is Florence, Siena, Pisa from the Property?
  The estate is about 40 km from Florence, 30 km from Siena, 70 km Pisa.
• Which is the nearest village or town?
  Certaldo at 4 km.
• Which is the nearest airport?
  There are various airports: Florence (Amerigo Vespucci) is the nearest. However both Rome, Pisa and Bologna airports are convenient as well.
• Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
  Yes, on request.
• Which is the nearest bus-stop?
  The nearest Bus stop is in Certaldo.
• Which is the nearest railway station?
  Certaldo railway station.
• Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
  No, there is not.
• Are pets welcome?
  Yes, they are. With the exception of sporting dog because are many pheasants, hare and rabbits in the area. Villa Avanella is situated in beatiful private game-preserve.
• Is there a restaurant in the Property?
  No, there is not.
• Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
  Not at the moment.
