By plane: Peretola airport in Florence is placed 84 kilometres from the property: it is the international terminal closest to the Villa Veronica and it will take you around 1 hour 10 minutes to drive to the inn. Otherwise, you may get a connection to Pisa, 130 kilometres from Siena.
By car: At the airport in Florence, take the A11/E76 motorway towards "Bologna/ Roma", "Pisa Nord" and "E35". Near the town of Prato, get on the A1/E35 in the direction "Roma/ Firenze/ Scandicci" and exit at the signs "Firenze/ Certosa". You will come to a roundabout, where you must take the first exit into the RA3. After Poggibonsi, get off at the exit for Siena Nord. Once you pass Valverde, take SR222 and follow the signs for Castellina in Chianti. You will soon see the signs for Villa Veronica.
By train:
- From Rome: you can take trains to Siena, a journey that usually lasts around 3 hours. It is highly recommended that you rent a car for your stay at Villa Veronica, as it is placed in the countryside.
- From Florence: bear in mind that there are shuttle services connecting the airport with Santa Maria Novella station- you can get on a connection by train to Siena, as the station is only 2 kilometres away. You can easily reach the property from the city by getting on bus number 35: in 15 minutes you will get off in front of Villa Veronica. |
