At Villa Elda, the reception desk is open from 7 am to 11pm, with staff speaking English and Italian. They will be pleased to recommend you nice restaurants where to have dinner in the area, as well as the best tours in the surroundings. Here you may also organize excursions to wine cellars in the Chianti area or rent bikes to get to know Tuscany on your own. |
In the morning, breakfast is served at the breakfast lounge or at the flowered garden (when the weather makes it possible): among the items on display, you can choose different cereals, croissants, fresh pastries, as well as milk, coffee and cappuccino; there are also fruits, honey and a variety of juices. |
For dinner, the hotel has no restaurant of its own, but for groups of a maximum of 10 people dinners can be organised on request. You should also ask in advance if you need to park your car at any of the 3 lots in the garden of the property. In addition to this, there is a transfer service available for an extra cost. |

| The marvellous surroundings at Villa Elda become the best scenery for excursions and activities outdoors. At the reception desk you will get all the necessary information on tours and visits, but you could begin with the Brunello tour, and experience that includes wine tasting, a visit to Montalcino on a private, air-conditioned van and an English-speaking driver to explain everything you see on the journey. Hiking and biking are also possible, for historical, gourmet or natural tours guided by professionals. However, once you have enjoyed the scenery you must walk to downtown Siena: the heart of the city is Piazza del Campo, but there are many other interesting spots in this medieval village that remained like that even when the close Florence was becoming the cradle of Rennaissance. |
