 Wine & Oil: Fattoria Dianella Fucini enjoys a great location on the sweet rolling hills of Vinci, native village of Leonardo. Vinci is part of the Montalbano area, west of Florence one of the most famous Chianti areas in Tuscany. Our farm has an extension of 90 hectares with 20 hectares of vineyards on calcareous grounds (150 meters above the sea level) and 15 hectares of olive groves. The main variety of grapes is the Sangiovese, then there are Canaiolo, Colorino, Cabernet Sauvignon and Trebbiano. The vineyards have a density of 3600-5500 plants per hectare. The olive groves are made by different varieties like Frantoio, Pendolino, Leccino and Moraiolo which make the Dianella olive oil rich in character. The owners personally take care of the production of wine and oil, offering a great selection of products made in respect of the Tuscan traditions. The farm produces "Chianti Dianella", "Le Veglie di Neri", "Il Matto delle Giuncaie" as red wines, "Sereno e Nuvole" as white wine and "Dolci ricordi" as vin santo. The wines have names inspired to the novels of the writer Renato Fucini. The Dianella wines tradition dates back to the end of 1700, as stated in the works of the poet Renato Fucini. Since 1900 the Chianti Dianella is known all over Italy. In the 50's and 60's the flask of the Chianti Dianella could not miss on the tables of the most famous taverns and restaurants of Italy, while the bottle was often offered by the Italian President in the menu of the official lunches at the "Quirinale". |
 Wine Cellars Tour: The goal is to allow visitors the opportunity to discover every single moment of farm life, from the grape harvest to olive picking and the wine production and aging phases. The guided visit winds through the different room and areas: from the ancient wine cellars with the oak barrels to the underground cellar; from the "vinsantaia" (room where we put the "vinsanto" barrels) to the "orciaia" (the area where we store the olive oil) to the aging zone and the present wine-making cellar. Along the path, several pieces of old machinery no longer in use are displayed along with wine-making tools that tell the story of older methods of bottling, filtering, labelling and plugging up. Each displayed object has a history to tell and the guide will help in the telling. At the end of this fascinating experience, guests will be introduced to a wine tasting in the hall close to the wine shop. The tasting will be accompanied by typical Tuscan food. |
 Breakfast: It can be served in the intimacy of your room or in the garden or in the beautiful Limonaia with garden view. We propose a wide selection of fruit, yoghurts, cereals, biscuits, croissants, chocolate...and delicious home-made jams. The menu changes according to the season in order to offer the freshest food.
Great Hospitality: At the reception, the owners and the staff will be delighted to welcome you and to help you during your stay. They will provide you with useful info and tips for tours, restaurants, excursion and so on.. Guided tours and transfers can be organized upon request. The staff speaks fluently English, French and German. |

Villa Dianella has an ancient park that can hold up to 300 people and different rooms and halls for up to 200 people. Moreover the staff can assist you with every aspect of the wedding from the legal matters of ceremony to the accommodation and every single detail of the reception, flowers, photography service and music. |
