The courtyard was charming, and the pool was much more spacious then envisioned. The grounds behind the villa were well kept. ... There was plenty of parking and the location was ideally located to highways and important Tuscan sights. ... The villa was charming. The owners were very friendly. They offered lots of advice on things to see. The apartment that we stayed in was spacious, well deocrated and comfortable. I highly recommend this place.

The property was described as child-friendly, which was a major reason for our selection as we have 2 small children. Although the owner and other guests were welcoming to the children there was not child safety equiptment. The pool was unfenced, there were open stone stairs etc., so the children had to be constantly supervised. We were promised a highchair during our stay but this didn't arrive until halfway through the week and was antique. It was un-useable, having no straps and a hole in the middle for a potty. So we had to tie the baby to chair with a belt for all meals, which was a real pain. ... Beautiful and quiet. Great for couples who want a relaxing stay. But not ideal for families with young children. The owners were very friendly.
