Although the lift was broken, all bagage etc was taken immediately to our room by staff. Lift was fixed within a few hours

Would have no hesitation in recommending hotel Vedetta to friends, providing they were looking for typically Tuscan type hotel with local atmospher and not a 'glossy, luxurious', hotel.Food was good, though choice was somewhat limited.

Although near Liverno, a major port and not really a tourist must see, Vedetta is in a small and beautiful area above the town. Location very good for traveling to different parts of Tuscany.It is also very handy for Pisa Airport

Typically Tuscan Villa type hotel in a beautiful location, not fancy, but spotlessly clean. Especially the top floor rooms,they had magnificent views over the Mediteranian. Room selection could be important, pay a bit extra for best ones.Friendly staff ensured a good value, relaxing and memorable holiday. Go there.

Parking situation is absolutely worse. Private Parking was offered, but with approx. 10 parking lots for, I don´t know, 30 rooms (?), is this not comfortable. Sorry, but don´t offer any parking in your ads.

we arrived very late at the hotel due to a problem with car rental at Pisa. It would have been helpful to have a snack available.

Friendly staff. Excellent room, cool in very hot weather. Breakfast often left a lot to be desired.....replenishing the limited buffet often slow. Restaurant meals economical but a limited menu.

We were not able to have dinner at the hotel but there was a very good restuarant nearby as advised by the staff.
Breakfast was most disappointing.
Coffee lukewarm at best. Only basic cereal and limited breads avaiable. No fruit, meats or cheese.
The locaton was stunning and, breakfast aside, we enjoyed our one night stay.

Upon asking the best route to the airport, the receptionist was unable to help us.

The views from the panorama terrace are fabulous. The hotel sign is not very obvious. It is above the gateway. We passed it and had to renegotiate the very narrow roadway, but it was woth it.

had no problems finding it cant understand why someone said it took 2 hours!!! Hotel was out of this world, location excellent and the staff at the hotel were so accomodating even making sure our room was nice and warm when we arrived! Also didnt mind when we got up late for breakfast a few times made sure we ate before we left!! The room was massive for us and three kids!!! high recommend this hotel in the summer must be awesome!!! jacqui England

Although difficult to find, this property was amazing. What a view! The room was very large and comfortable. (The shower was somewhat disappointing, however.) The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. I would gladly return to this hotel.

There are a couple of restaurants only a few hundred meters from the hotel. Both were very nice and one had a patio completely covered by very large vines.

Directions were quite confusing, some idea of distance between the turn-offs would have been useful. Receptionist was extremely helpful.

We loved our stay at the Vedetta. It was so romantic and the view was amazing. We even got engaged there!! Lovely place and a quaint village. We will be back one day!

I would recommend that the facility obtain some internet connectivity in the rooms in case a laptop was available. This was probably the negative part of out stay not being connected to the outside world.

Montenero is a quiet place and the 'santuario' is the main attraction there. The perfect place for people who like to tank new energy and who like to be confronted to the real Italian way of life.
The hotel is excellent and very clean. The rooms are large and the furnishing was to our entire convenience. Nice atmosphere there during our stay.

the only problem was that one half of the bed's mattress was not firm and the mattresses separated during the night. However, the room and view were quite nice.
