In 1700 Baron Herman De Schubart, minister of the Danish King, built the villa for the use as his own private residence. He called the villa "La Vedetta" (engl. Lookout) because of its enchanting panorama that one can admire from the huge terrace. Today, the villa is completely restored, respecting the original Tuscan style and converted into a Hotel, becoming perfectly part of the striking views of the Etruscan Coast.... (read more)
