Le seul bruit que nous entendions la nuit étaient les rossignols et une tourterelle triste durant le jour.

Nous avons eu l'impression lorsque nous sommes partis que nous laissions des membres de la famille ou des amis chez qui nous avions été hébergés.

Les gens sont très chaleureux. La propriétaire s'est déplacé elle-même pour venir nous chercher au village alors que nous nous étions perdu la première journée. Le père qui s'arrête de travailler pour nous parler et qui nous offre une bouleille de son petit vin maison. Les gens au café de Radicondoli qui nous ont aidé même si on ne parlait pas la langue. Le propriétaire de la petite épicerie qui nous faisait goûter au fromage ou aux charcuteries que nous désirions acheter.

Très bel appartement, grand, bien équipé. bien situé dans la campagne toscane, à proximité de deux jolis villages, dont celui de Radicondoli. On a l'impression quand on est à cet endroit que le temps s'est arrêté voilà des siècles et que tout est resté comme il était, même les habitants, qui se retrouvent au petit café le soir pour sirroter un expresso, ou une petite fine. Le paysage est magnifique!

When we arrived we were expecting someone to be there at reception, however there was a sign (in English) asking us to ring and someone would arrive promptly - this was okay but as we had not been expecting this it took us sometime to work out the dialling code to use on our mobile phone. They did arrive very promptly once we had got through.

The interior was as expected and good. The private patio area outside(which was one of the main reasons for booking this property) was not as private as we expected - we shared a large patio area which was sectioned off with tubs of plants, with 2 other rooms - we would have preferred it to be a little more private.

Checking out was very quick and easy. We were very touched that the owner gave us small gifts as we left. We were also very pleased with the welcome pack - we would perhaps suggest that, for adult-only guests, the welcome pack is more important and perhaps the leaving gifts should be given just to children.
Overall we really enjoyed out stay and have not major issues.

The reference to 'climate control' is a little misleading as at first glance I thought this referred to air conditioning and was a little disappointed when I realised it referred to heating. If I was booking again now I would only book an air-conditioned property.

Nice, basic accomodation with a good standard of cleanliness and helpful staff. The property, although fairly remote,is a little closer to the road than expected (other properties we passed we down large drives and some, more appealing ones, in the middle of farming areas. Ideal for a holiday when you really don't wish to do more than swim and read a book but perhaps a little too remote for major siteseeing.
