Coming from North: Leave the Highway A1 at the exit Firenze Certosa and take the motorway Firenze - Siena. Drive along (40 Km) this road as far as the exit Colle Val d'Esa Sud (south). Go ahead to the right and, after 100 m, to the right again for Colle Val D'Elsa. After 2,5 Km turn left follow signs to Grosseto - Radicondoli. After 3 km you will reach a junction, turn right over the bridge ("Ponte di Santa Giulia" but there is no nameplate) and follow the sign towards Grosseto, away from Colle, along the SS 541. You will shortly pass a large terracotta pots factory and shop on your left and a car salesroom, then the land becomes countryside again. Drive on for about 8 km keeping to the Grosseto Road, (SS 541) and you will reach a junction beyond an IP petrol-gas station on the right, just before a turning to the left for Pievescola. Turn right at this junction, following the signs for Mensano - Radicondoli. After 5 km you will reach another junction with a large farmhouse set back from the road on the right. Turn left here, following the sign for Radicondoli. After about 5 km you will reach the turn off for Radicondoli. Keep on the main road and drive straight on towards Belforte. Drive straight on towards Belforte. You will reach the junction for Belforte after just over 1 km. Rather than driving up to the village of Belforte, look ahead and to the right and about 300 metres from the junction you will see a sign for Casa Vacanze Il Vecchio Mulino. Coming from Pisa Airport: Leave the exit from the car park at the airport following the sign for Firenze and drive along this dual carriageway until you reach the junction with the Highway A1. Join the Highway in the direction Roma and leave it shortly afterwards at the exit Firenze Certosa . From here follow the direction above.
Coming from Florence Airport: Turn right on leaving the airport and follow the green Highway signs up the road. Enter the highway at Firenze Nord following the direction Roma. Leave the highway at the exit Firenze Certosa. From here follow the direction above. |
