We drove our van right to the place without a missed turn after 6 hours of driving. We felt like we stepped into a wonderful world where time has stood still. Serene atmosphere - layed back - our host was very knowledgeable about Tuscany and where to visit, willing to arrange transportation, places to eat and things to do.

This is a place you should plan on staying for longer than 3 days and actually just chill at the pool, sip some wine, and enjoy Tuscany WITHOUT any other tourists, a very rare treat!

We bought wine and olive oil to go and listened to wonderfull stories from our host's mother.

It is closer to San Gimignano than expected -- a good thing. You can take a foot path to the town in less than 40 minutes and avoid the parking hassles. It is tucked away on the last private drive on a breath-taking views fronm a twisty 2 mile tiny road.

Very private with great views, good wine and excellent host family. It's a place to go to revive and absorb nature and appreciate Italy's Tuscany province.

Marjory checked us in, she is a very kind and warm person.

The room was very nice and spacious, but could have been cleaned better. The water in the shower did not run away fastly, so bathing room was completely wet all the time.

you can do long and nice walks in the surroundings. the view is magnificent.

you should really go there when ever in Tuscany. It is nice, quiet, beautiful, good breakfest, super swimming pool, close to a lot of beautiful towns and the family you stay with is the most lovely family ever seen. Especcialy Marjory, the oldest mum, who can tell you great stories of her family's life in Tuscany. We felt very welcome here. One minor : the room's floor could be cleaner but maybe I am a freak.

Excellent website and my husband and I loved our stay at Vallebuia. The three generations of women who run and own Vallebuia are charming and wonderful hostesses. We didn't want to leave and there was a tear in my eye when I said goodbye to Marjorie. I plan on e-mailing them this week with some of our photos we took.

Beautiful setting. Wonderful Tuscan antique furnishings. Extremely gracious hosts (with the exception of the greeting above). Oozes charm on all fronts. 4 dogs & 2 cats add to the ambience. Absolutely delightful!

A delightful spot, peaceful, gorgeous views,and pleasant accomodations. The quiet amid the vineyards made our time in Tuscany very relaxing. We will be back to Vallebuia in the future. Francesca and her family made us feellike family also.

Vallebuia is located at the end of a 3.5 km roadway (last 1.0 km is not paved), however it is worth the drive and the view of Sam Gimignano along the way is spectacular. Well worth the drive, I recommend this spot.

We were offered a glass of wine on the terrace. We sipped and relished the surrounding hills, vines, and olive trees...splendid!

The owners always offered the extra effort to make our stay pleasurable...from diner reservations, reccommendations of local site seeing, and museum reservations. Friendly, knowledgeable, clean, professional, helpful, all that we had hoped to find in a B&B and more.

Tuscany you say...then I have the perfect B&B for you. Truely nestled among the vines and the olive groves, Vallebuia is the perfect reflection of the Tuscan lifestyle. You feel at peace and relaxed by the pool taking in the vineyard. Or you can hop in your car and in five minutes you arrive in San Gimignano, a pitturesque town with a variety of shops and restaurants. Your room is pretty, the view is incredible, the service is outstanding. Do not stay another minute in the big cities. You need to experience the Tuscan country side at Vallebuia. We had a lovely time and plan to go back.

Not having a rental car, it would be nice if the staff at Vallebuia could keep some phone numbers to the local taxis to ease the travellers a bit.

The staff were friendly, always polite and nice. Easy to talk to and eager to answer as good as they could on the questions asked. Cassandra (Francescas stand-in for the summer) surprised us with rose pebbels on the bed one day. I think that pretty much sums up the entire stay.

We were more then welcome to stay by the pool after check out. So we did. Also - not having a car - Ciara took us to the bus stop in San Giminano. It was very nice of her to do so.

The property, the people, and the dogs were just wonderful! We truly enjoyed our stay and hope to return there in the future. As I told Francesca, Vallebuia is all and more than the photos represent. Margaret is gem and a most welcoming hostess.

Definitely the nicest place we stayed in Italy. Would stay there again in a second. Really appreciated owner Francesca and daughter Chiara's suggestions on good, non-touristy restaurants.

Maybe that it's a fairly good ways off the main road - 3.4 miles, as I recall - but still a short drive to San Gimignano. Also, the guest rooms are stunning, with slanted ceilings, antiques and incredible views of the surrounding vineyards.

The Vallebuia property and the owners were charming and warm and we had a lovely stay. Only drawback was the lack of air conditioning which kept us awake at night.

Highly recommend this beautiful Tuscany pansione - beautiful views, lovely property, romantic and relaxing. The owners were absolutely gracious and lots of fun. Many great things to do close by. Property was ideally located - close to the Chianti wine region, the coast and charming little towns. Every local restaurant was wonderful. Highly recommend!

Vallebuia is really a gorgeous, relaxing home
from home. Francesca and her family are
incredibly warm and welcoming and nothing is
too much trouble. Conveniently situated to
reach all the main attractions in Tuscany,
although you may tempted just to spend time
lying by the fantastic pool.

The road, or should I say track for the last part of the journey to Vallebuia is very bad and I believe could be improved.
Air conditioning would have been welcome, when we were there it was in the high 30's into the 40's and we only had a stand alone fan in the room.

Friendly, welcoming, with good facilities, pool is in lovely setting and a lovely way to cool down, relax and unwind from a day of site seeing. Good location, quite yet within 10-15 from San Gim. Lovely views and good, clean niced sized rooms.
Having use of a fridge was a bonus.

Vallebuia was a beautiful place, a real find. We arrived very late, around 23:00 (due to a delayed flight) and the owner stayed up to greet us. My only recommendation for improvement would be a better map and set of directions. Perhaps suggesting a different route if driving in the dark, for example sticking to main roads.

The walk through the vineyard to San Gimignano is really lovely. It winds through a small forest and over a stream. Takes lots of water though in the summer! Also, don't miss the ice cream place in the main square in San Gimignano - No.1 World ice cream parlour!
