We arrived earlier than we should have done, but this was not a problem and the staff were very friendly and accomadating.

Canonica di Cortine is a great place to unwind, very relaxing environment, the room we stayed in 'Cimabue' was small but tidy. Staff are very friendly and quick to answer any of our queries.
It's a pity they do not have a restaurant onsite as this would add significantly to the offering, but in general we were very happy with our stay.

A lovely place to unwind, out in Tuscan countryside. Comfortable rooms and very well kept gardens. You will need your own transport to get there and you'll need to carefully plan your meals as restaurants are not plentiful in the area.

We received a warm and gracious greeting the moment we entered the gate. One would have thought we were their only guests and they had been waiting anxiously for us to arrive. We were stunned by how beautiful the grounds were and the smells from the flowering bushes and vines that covered the stone buildings. We couldn't help but smile at one another, thinking we really were fortunate to find such a beautiful, peaceful spot for our Tuscany vacation, at such a reasonable price.

We regretted from the very first day that we didn't book the accomodation for a longer stay. When ever we mentioned to the 'locals' where we were staying, they all said it was one of the best spots in all of Chianti. By our third day of touring around, we believed them. The staff was always so friendly and helpful. We loved the place!!! We are already planning for a return visit, with friends and family.

They offered to store our luggage until we were truly ready to leave, in case we wanted to linger on the gounds, around the pool or even one more venture in the country side. They also gave us with brochures, postcards for our friends, and a poster suitable for framing. Not to mention a warm and sincere invitation to return soon.

It's only too bad you can't publish a 'smell' or a 'scratch and sniff'. Honestly, the flowering jasmine, geraniums, lavender and the warm earth created such a unique fragrance that I will always associate with Tuscany.

The staff normally leave at 7pm but we arrived at 9.30pm on Easter Sunday and somebody still came out to meet us which was great.

A very friendly and personal service. Staff came to to say goodbye and offer directions for our onward journey.

Canonica Di Cortine is a wonderful getaway. It is like a spa hotel set in the middle of vineyard covered hills. It was much more beautiful and charming than I had anticipated. I would recommend it to anyone. I only wish we had stayed a few more days.

We totally enjoyed our stay at Torre Vecchio. The staff could not have been nicer. Elisa set up a tour of the Monsanto Winery that was wonderful. The breakfast was excellent, far more expansive than most of the breakfasts we had during our three week trip in Italy. I would highly recommend Canonica di Cortine to anyone.

The facilities are very nice, the grounds are beautiful, and the staff was not only extremely competent but extraordinarily helpful.

The receptionist was very flexible. We hadn't read about the check in times, but eventhough we arrived during late siesta she helped us out.

No organized lunch available. However possible to ask for lunch but very expensive. The jacuzi is not heated.

Great location, great view from the pool, close to wineyards to visit. Very calm and relaxing and friendly staff.
