From North: To get here from Florence, take the A1 motorway (green sign, Italy's main north-south toll superhighway) south towards Roma, leaving it at Firenze Certosa exit and taking the free highway towards Siena. Exit at Siena Nord and continue, following Centro (Centre) signs.
From South: To get here from Rome, take the A1 motorway north towards Milan, leaving it at Valdichiana exit and taking E78 highway towards Siena. Exit at Siena Ovest and then follow Centro Signs.
By train:
From the main Railway Station in Florence there are many trains and busses running to Siena.
From the main Railway Station of Siena, the easiest way to get to the apartment is to take a taxi.
How to reach Gaia Apartment:
By Car:
arriving from north the exit advisable on the motorway is Firenze Certosa, then onto Firenze Siena, in Siena the exit is Siena Ovest, continuing the indications for "Centro" and " Stadio". Taking the "strada Pescaia", arriving at the first traffic lights, the turning right at the next cross roads taking the left, immediately after the road with obligation toward the right, this will take you to Viale Vittorio Veneto. Covering all this road, until arriving in Viale Curtatone , where you can see the Church of San Domenico, from here, after few meters, go to the right, entering on the zone of limited traffic, direction Piazza Matteotti, which must be taken with on the right side the department of store "Upim", covering a short way, go to the left, toward Via Montanini nr 28, passing the left side, of the "Chiesina delle Nevi", having in front the sign of "Hotel Cannon d'Oro". For who arrived from the south, the exit advisable is Val di Chiana (Chiusi/ Chianciano) taking for Sinalunga then onto Bettolle/Siena. Arriving in Siena take the exit with indications Centro/Stadio where you will find the fork on the left for Grosseto on the right for Siena go towards Siena , then get off at the Siena Ovest exit. The rest is the same. |
