 Swimming pool
The swimming pool has been built on a historic site next to a 17th century tower. It is 9X8m and 1.35m deep. It is open from early May to October and it is for our guest's use only and shared by all four guest houses on the farm. There is also a playground for children, and private parking. |
 We offer visits of wine cellars visits and olive mill with wine tasting for private or groups. CYou can also buy Chianti wine and olive oil direct from us. We also rent mountain bikes, mobile telephones, and can provide information for the best walks in the surrounding area, trekking with trained guide (half day, full day or several days), organise tickets for Florence Museum, guided tours, and cooking classes. A cook, home maid service and babysitter is available. We can arrange transfer from the Florence railway station and the airport to Torre a Cona and viceversa. |

 On the outskirts of Torre a Cona there is a riding school (5 km) where pony trekking through the beautiful countryside is available. Nearby there is a Tennis Club (9 km) with tennis courts, gym, sauna, swimming pool, Turkish bath and sauna. The nearest village is San Donato in Collina only 700m away. There you can find grocery stores, butcher's shop, greengrocer, post office, newspaper kiosk and the bus stop to Florence. In Troghi, 1 km away, there are banks, pharmacy, and filling station. Nearby there are many restaurants and pizzerias. The nearest supermarket in Bagno a Ripoli (direction Florence) 10 km away, or in Figline 15 km away. To the south 10 km away, is "the Mall", an outlet where you can find shops of Gucci, Valentino, Armani, Yves Saint Laureant, Sergio Rossi, Fendi, Dolce & Gabbana and other eminent Italian labels. |
