We actually got directions from Daniele through an direct e-mail to the villa. We found it, but were probably lucky. The directions could probably be more specific, because when you are coming from a foreign country, it is usually a little harder to follow...not a big deal. ... There is a picture perfect view in every direction. And the fact it is a working vineyard and olive orchard, it was even more interesting. ... A little piece of heaven among many beautiful heavenly hills. Terre di Nano is every bit a good as your mind hopes it will be. The owners have paid attention to many small details...the custodians are friendly, happy and helpful for anything you need. And the surrounding towns-many are close-are a delight to visit. A+.

Our hosts, Johnny and Rita, the view, the villa, and our accommodations, could not have been more delightful. We hope that it will not be too long before we can return! If you are going to the Val d'Orcia, Terre di Nano is the place to stay.

Terre di Nano is absolutely beautiful and I hope to be able to go there again for a longer stay sometime! Rita and Johnny were gracious hosts. ... The surrounding scenery was absolutely gorgeous. ... We had a little difficulty finding it initially. But if we had followed the stated kilometers closely, we would have found it the first time. Our lesson learned!
Tuscany.net was the most useful web site we found to research accommodations for several areas we considered visiting in the Tuscany area. ... Postively breathtaking view in a charming, spacious, luxurious and sparkly clean environment.

We could not have enjoyed our stay more. ... I definitely think you should speak about the dinner option. It was lovely and the food was delicious. As the road to the top of the hill where Terre di Nano is located, is dark, curvy, and not paved, you might mention that most guests take advantage of the dinner option after a full day of sightseeing. Also, you might mention the price which was reasonable for the home cooking made with fresh ingredients from neighboring farms. Dinner is served on a lovely outdoor patio and includes an appetizer, pasta, second course and dessert. They will also bring the dinner to you in your room.

The only negative of our experience, is the directions to get to Terre di Nano. They need to mention that S Biagio's is a church and that Albergo S.Biago is a hotel with a Fiat dealership across from it or even better would be to place a name sign at the turn to Terre di Nano because there is no sign for via di S. Bartolomeo. ... Michaela and Daniele were very accommodating at all times. Upon our request, Daniele set up a wine tasting activity for us the first afternoon. He also made dinner reservations for us at a restaurant in Monticchiello which was very enjoyable and the food was very good. We met the owner at breakfast one morning and enjoyed our conversation with him. Our room was spacious, quaint, and comfortable. The bathroom was very nice. The views were the highlight of our stay. From our window, you could see 2 towns in the distance and also Mt. Amiata. On the other side of the farmhouse you can view Montepulciano. At the top of the farmhouse is an open area where you can see 360 degrees (great for picture taking!!) None of the towns I have mentioned are close enough to be a disturbance, just far enough away to make a beautiful scene and easy to get to. You can make numerous daytrips, even to Siena. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely make a return visit and stay longer than our 2 nights. ... Same as above.

Terre di Nano must be one of the most beautiful properties in Tuscany. Its location, surrounded by olive groves and grape vines, and the stunning vistas of surrounding towns, make it a marvel. Our room was immaculate. We were able to view other rooms at Terre di Nano. They are all tasteful, elegant, beautifully appointed, spacious and clean. Terre di Nano's hosts, Johny and Rita, are absolutely wonderful people who make you feel like part of the family. ... Our hosts, Rita and Johny, are the best. They provided invaluable recommendations on restaurants, wine tours, horseback riding, driving directions, and the miscellany that is part of traveling. Marvelous, down to earth people who offer their hand in friendship as if they'd been expecting your reunion with them all their lives. ... Situated in the Tuscan hills, surrounded by working olive groves and a vineyard, Terre di Nano perches on a small hilltop that commands a stunning vista of the Tuscan countryside. The rooms are also treasures to the eye and weary bones. A stunning villa to which we will return again and again. I would highly recommend Terre di Nano to anyone.
