I find the website very easy to use. The property descriptions and photos are an excellent way to view the properties. ... This is the 2nd year I have used Tuscany.net to find weekly accomodations and have had a satisfactory experience both times. ... Unfortunately there are two different Communes of Montepulciano and this makes the directions somewhat confusing. When we were able to find the sign for Valiano and go in that direction we were then able to find the signs for Fattoria Terrarosa. ... The accomodations and location were excellent. The property is convenient to sites of interest in both Tuscany and Umbria. The area was both beautiful and peaceful.

Fattoria Terrarossa is a fantastic place to stay. The rooms are clean and modern. The view is absolutely magnificent. The pool is great. The place is calm; all you hear are birds singing. The owner is very friendly and helpful. And the price is very affordable. I would highly recommend it.

re q1: I bought a detailed map of the area anyway, but it was essential to find the place. I think your on line map could have been a lot clearer. Apart from that, excellent. ... Excellent ... No problem ... Can't think of anything except the map (as stated above) ... Excellent. Highly recommended

Only problem was lack of information re the area- access to the office very restricted and ahwilst appreciating the vine harvest it was not possible to see the leaflets/books about the area. ... wasps in abundance during early September. ... Excellent accomodation - only drawback is the distance to eat out at night- 10 miles to Montepulciano where good choice of restaurants- Antico Policiano in particlar.

upon arrival , the reception area was closed . Opening hours were posted , so we could enjoy the swimming pool while waiting for the reception to open . Also , a phone number was posted to call for further assistance ~ good to have a mobile phone .
For the rest , everything was OK ... the location/surroundings are great ( believe that's already on the website )
Spectacular view !!

The property was wonderful...the apartment was outstanding. ... Splendid isolation in Tuscany. Fabrizio, the owner will help you with anything you need and the apartments are beautiful, very clean and extremely comfortable. All the modern conveniences within an ancient building that has been restored with extreme care. We plan on returning to Terrarosa and will use Tuscany.net again in the future.

We came after check-in hours. Even though we were late, there were clear instructions printed on the outside door to direct us to our apartment that waited open for us, and the owner was incredibly helpful and allowed us to check-in on the following day ! ... And the owner even put in a bottle of Vino Nobile from his estate :) ... Gorgeous !

Signore Sallusti was there to greet us. ... This is our second visit to Terrarossa. Once again we found it be a wonderful retreat. It is so peaceful - all you see are vines and the distant view of Tuscan hill top towns. The apartment was spacoius and clean. The pool area had enough sunbeds and parasols...although the water is very cold!! We will definatley return.

We didn't expect 3kms of dirt road leading up to the property. ... Beautiful property surrounded by vineyards ... I think the website should mention that there is approx 3 kms of dirt road leading up to the property. ... A very nicely renovated apartment keeping in tone with the beautiful surroundings. A beautiful and peaceful place to relax in and visit the nearby towns of Montepulciano and Montalcino but a bit far to visit Florence and Siena.

Beautiful, Clean accomadations. Fabrizio was very nice! ... The farmhouse was not 'in' Montapulchiano, like we anticipated, it is off the beaten path in a smaller town that starts with a V. We were hoping for a cute cafe close by for coffee and breakfast, but we just drove further. ... Beautiful, Beautiful, Beautiful! Clean accomadations over the scenic vineyards. And the pool was terrific. Fabrizio was extremely polite, spoke great english, and shared his knowledge of the areas we should sightsee.

Too many wasps outside and beetles in the shower (I carried out 20). Could do with some basic food items (salt/pepper/herbs) in the kitchen ... We only stayed for a few days so it was expensive per day but it we had stayed for a week it would have been good value. ... A picture of the swimming pool ... Great, just take wasp spray and salt/pepper

We arrived earlier than we should have, but the owner arrived shortly after and did not mind that we were too early. ... I would have liked more information as to local restaurants, places to buy food (supermarkets), etc. available in the apartment. Not necessarily tourist information (available at all tourist information offices), but practical information. We did not see a lot of the 'staff', so I cannot really comment about them. Suspect that the owner and his family are doing everyting, and they were very busy in the vineyards and on the farm. ... I did feel that the property was a bit expensive (especially for the season), but as all properties in Tuscany are in this price range, this is probably correct. I've stayed in Tuscany the first time before the conversion to the euro, and again afterwards, and accommodation prices have increased quite a lot. It makes one think twice about visiting Tuscany, a pity. ... I would suggest that a kettle in the kitchen (always lacking in accommodation in Italy!) would be good. Lots of visitors are from the UK or countries where tea is drinken, and boiling water on the stove in a pot is inconvenient. ... Quiet, on a farm, with clean appartments.
