We just loved our stay at the Fattoria de Corsignano and we were very pleased with everything Mario and his family were great. We never been to Italy before and Tuscany were the best place of the whole stay.
Thanks for everything and be sure that we will recommand this fattoria.

They were very polite and even conducted a wine tasting session in the evening on our day of arrival.

Beautiful place, where the hosts are ever ready to assist you with any of your needs and requests, and they try to make your stay as confortable as possible. It feels like being welcomed to their home. Everything is personalised, and homely.

The promptness of email replies was a little frustrating when making arrangments close to ones arrival date. After staying at the properties and seeing that guests are only a small part of what they do -- versus a hotel-- it is understandable and easily forgiven!

We arrived very late and found it hard to find as we were looking for 'Tenuta di Corsignano', in fact they are called 'Fattoria di Corsignano'. It was the most lovely stay and the accomadation, breakfast and hospitality were by far the best we have experienced! The attention to detail was what struck me and a beautiful bottle of wine from their vineyards when we finally arrived. We would love to go back there and stay around September for the grape harvest. I will recommend it to everyone I know who is going to Tuscany.

A wonderfully relaxing experience in beautiful Tuscan surrounds that you might see in a picture - vineyards and olive groves over rolling hills lined with Cyprus trees. The most friendly hosts that welcomed us to a delicious typical Tuscan breakfast everyday with lots of helpful information about the areas. Ornate hand restored antique furniture in the private apartments with it's own rooster alarm clock from the farm next door! The attention to detail was wonderfully refreshing. It will be highly recommended to all my friends!

We arrived on Sunday wich is why the recepsionist was not there. But we found a very pleasant letter.

We lived very close to the neigbours dog house, so most of our nights we slept very poorly due to the barking of dogs.
We did complain to the management but as the dogs did not belong to them unfortunatly it was nothing they could do.

But all in all we had a vey nice stay in Tuscany. We have been to Tuscany many, many times and Fattoria di Corsignano is an OK startingpoint for the sights all over Tuscany.

Yes, we got wonderful accommodations, however the other two couples in our company were assigned inadequate accommodations which were up a dirt road with no street light. One couple were assigned no more than a cot.

Again, the other couples did not recieve good room value, however after several days of complaining they were eventually moved.
The patio and lawn furniture was literally falling apart with several broken chairs.

Again, main house was a good value. Other units not so good.

Extra charge of 5 euros for broken laundry facilities.
Wine tour was great with owner Mario giving a good tasting and tour.

Good only for the main house, although the kitchen was ill equipped for cooking. The manager did not supply more than 2 days worth of toilet paper and soap.

Absolutely wonderful. So much more than we expected. Elena and Mario are charming. Our little apartment was clean and comfy. We took the Pasta Class and had a ball. Elena offered a full Tuscan dinner to all the guests, about 19 accepted. What a meal! Five courses, each better than the one before and Mario served his wonderful wine.
I can't say enough to convey what a great stay we had. Except to say 'We'll be back'

Everthing was nearly perfect, the only thing I would suggest additionally: sun umbrellas, otherwise it is too hot to sit outside for breakfeast.

The dinner which is offered for all guests once a week. It was a real nice experience and the food was very good.

A very nice and private place with wonderful spots to sit down in the shades of old trees and a wonderful view to Siena and the surrounding wineyards.

I would add that there are upper and lower level apartments. The ones in the upper level nearer to the main house seem a little nicer and those choices should be described a little more clearly. We got a lower level apartment, farther from the main house and pool and that would be good to know.
Also, having been recommended by friends, we were looking forward to meeting the owners and interacting with them, so we were disappointed when they were away on holiday. Staff that was there, however, were lovely and helpful.
I would also add that the laundry is self-service, with a washing machine and available clothesline, that Americans especially should not expect clothes dryers. We had prepared for that so it was no problem, but we didn't realize from your description that the laundry services were self-service which was good news for us. ...
A lovely little working winery and farm in the middle of chianti region of tuscany, quiet and private and restful with lovely people, apartments that allow one to cook in or to take advantage of their full breakfast and cook in as one desires. Tuesdays include a full wine and olive oil tasting of products produced on the farm, available for purchase.

I really liked both the location and the accomodations. At our arrival the owner was very nice and invited us straight away to a wine tasting experience that had just started. He also took the time and effort to give us newcomers a brief summary of what he had already explained to people already there.
At the time of our check in he also gave us a lot of tips on where and how to go and where to eat.

we really enjoyed our stay. The only facility that wasn`t available was the pool as they start using it in June.

Our first glimpse took our breath away - the flowers, the buildings, the view. They were not bothered at all by our kids who needed to run around and explore after sitting in the car all day. They were having a cellar tour and wine tasting our first night there which was great!

They were very helpful when we asked direct questions but there was perhaps not enough information offered or available passively about things to do in the area. The room did have business cards of nearby eating places which was helpful.

Check out time is a little early - 9 or 9.30 I think. We were leaving on a Sunday morning and they had initially asked if we could check out Saturday evening but we weren't going to get back from a day trip until late so they were agreeable to waiting until the morning.

We arrived before the indicated hour (around 1:30 pm). It's a pity that no one is available before the indicated hour (even thoug someone is present at the location). We had to wait and therefore it was a pity we could unload our luggage etc...

We had a very nice holiday at Tenuta di Corsignana, however at the beginning the pool wasn't very clean (not enough chloride).

Very good location (to visit interesting towns and areas, but also a household with children will have an enjoyable stay), quiet & beautiful surrounding and friendly people.

It was a great place to stay and, if we make it back to Italy, we'd spend more time at Tenuta di Corsignano.

The villa is beautiful but fairly dark inside, which does not create a brilliant first impression. As soon as the curtains and doors were thrown open, it was perfect. Suggest that on arrival of new guests, the villa should be well lit and aerated.

YES!!!
We are lovers of good red wine, and the website mentioned that the villa was on a wine farm but it did not mention how good the wine is. It won an award in Germany and was rated in the top 5 Chianti Classico's, which is a fantastic accolade and this should be mentioned on the website!!!

As it was Sunday there was no one waiting for us; however, they delivered the key and instructions in an envelope, so my husband and I did not have problems in getting our room.

A quite place, with lovely scenery. Rooms are nicely decorated and very clean. Service is very friendly and ready to help. It would be better if you arrive after having lunch or dinner, because there are not restaurants nearby. For breakfast, they have a very lovely room looking to the garden and pool, I just loved to have breakfast there.

We did not realize that the reception is closed on Sunday (the day we arrived), so we had to wait about 20-30 min for Elena (one of the hosts) to arrive. They had left contact phone numbers but we were unable to contact them by phone.

Our only complaints about the room was that there was no privacy, the walls between the individual units were very thin and you could hear everything.
Although, we were aware of the additional cost for heat, we have always had it included in the price.

The accomodations were beautiful and in a perfect location for what we wanted to see in Tuscany.
Although there was no one to greet us during reception hours, there was a note as to how we could contact them. Unfortunately, we did have a cell phone that worked in Italy.
