Ville di Corsano is located just 12 km from "Siena", the walled medieval city which is known throughout the world for its Palio which takes place twice a year in the beautiful frame of "Piazza del Campo" on 2nd July and 16th August. The owner of the Villa, the "Migone" family will be happy to give you a guided tour and explain the traditions. In the pretty hamlet of "Ville di Corsano" (population 200), where our property is located, you will find the Romanic church "La Pieve" (dating back to the 11th century), the local supermarket, a post office, three restaurants and a winery. For a larger selection of shops and amenities, a larger town called "Monteroni D'Arbia" is 10 km away and offers a wider choice of cafes and restaurants, a large supermarket (Coop), banks, post office, laundry service and other amenities. The nearby town of "Murlo" is also well worth a visit for its Etruscan ruins and small museum. Murlo itself affords breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside especially at sunset.
