From Pisa Airport:
take the freeway "SGC Fi-Pi-Li" in direction of Florence and after 20 Km exit at Cascina. Keep right and follow direction for Cenaia. Go straight on until the village of Cenaia, cross it and continue for 2Km. You will then find the village of Quattro Strade and at the traffic lights turn right. After 800mt there is a big grey gate on your left : this is the entrance to Poggio al Casone.
From Florence Airport:
Take the A11 motorway direction Firenze Nord until you see the A1 motorway. Go direction Roma and after about 10 Km exit at Scandicci. Here take the freeway SGC Fi-Pi-Li direction Pisa-Livorno and exit at Pontedera-Ponsacco (it's the second exit for Pontedera!). At the roundabout take direction Pontedera, go straight on until the second traffic lights and turn left direction Lari. Go straight on for 5 Km passing the village of Lavaiano and then Quattro Strade. At the traffic lights go straight on direction Crespina and after 800 mt there is a big grey gate on your left : this is the entrance to Poggio al Casone. |
