Facilities within the Estate

 

Swimming pool: an oval swimming pool (90 sq.m, minimun depth 1,20 metres maximum 2,40 metres) equipped with springboard and internal lighting. From April to the end of October the external swimming pool is available.
 
Wellbeing: A small swimming pool (for 7 people) with hydro-massage with warm water (37 Celsius Degrees) available all over the year (indicated for cromotherapy). Guests have the chance to buy aromatherapy products, to rent towels. It works with a time coin.


Other services: It is possible to rent a baby cot, a changing table, baby bath tub, baby chair and baby car seat. On request we provide a babysitting service, and mobile phone. Independent eating, authomatic gate at thje entrance, cover parking, external shower and barbecue.Mountain bike renting

History and Culture: In a short driving distance you can reach the etruscan villages "Volterra", "Vetulonia", "Roselle" and "Populonia" and the Medieval towns "Massa Marittima" and "San Gimignano", or bigger artistical and hystorical centres as Siena, Florence, Roma and Pisa.

The seaside: Sunflower is just a few kilometers far from the beaches of "Follonica" Gulf, "Castiglione della Pescaia", "Punta Ala", a sand coast with pinewood and typical mediterranean woods. In about 30 minutes it is possible to reach "Piombino" where you can get a ferryboat to the Isle of Elba.
Nature: At 50 km far from the farmhouse there is the "Uccelina" Natural Park and "Burano" oasis both are wellkonwn naturalistic protected areas.
More relax: In about one hour by car it is possible to reach Saturnia Spa, "San Filippo" bath, Petriolo and Amiata Mountain for those who like trekking.

In general: In Caldana (3,7 km) you can reach every kind of shops, Banks, Post Office, Shopping Center in Follonica. Pharmacy: Loc. Grilli (2 km) from Monday to Saturday (afternoon), "Via dei Mille" in Grosseto (all time 28 km far). First Aid and Hospital in "Massa Marittima" (25 km) or Grosseto (28 km). Restaurants: "Il Borgo" in Caldana, "I tre Archi" in "Massa Marittima", "Le Tre Machere" in "Castiglione della Pescaia" (18 km), "da Vittorio" at "Il Puntone" (16 km), "La Tana del Cinghiale" in "Tirli" (21 km).
