The hotel is in a town called speladetto, ask the locals for directions or follow the raod signs. The map of the place if way off.

Great value for the money

This place is a hidden jem, not much amenities are offered so know wxactly what you need before you stay there; for me it was simply perfect and I liked it more than the 5 star hotel I stayed in in Rome.

We enjoyed the stay very much. Laura was great!! There was a little more noise from road traffic than we expected and a farm dog barked all night one night.

We were also a little disappointed not to be able to climb the tower of the castle. In fact, there was no examination of the castle possible except from the outside. I think it would enhance the experience if we had been able to walk inside and climb to the top.

We'd come again.

We were not welcomed upon arrival, but
admittedly, we had gotten lost along the
way and were there two hours after stated
arrival time.

Fantastic location, in proximity to the
castle-studded hills of lower Tuscany.

If you're ever in lower Tuscany, you have
to stay there.

Great links. Easy to use. Properties as described.

Owner did not appear to be expecting us. No one on the property spoke English. The owner finally showed up after about an hour with his daughter, who spoke some English.
Although there appeared to be some confusion, I would not say the experience was a bad one. The accommodations were modern, clean and spacious. Breakfast was excellent. The central location near Pienza, Monticiello and Montipulciano makes up for an awful lot.

Driving instructions need to be much clearer from the A1. We got lost in the first town we travelled through on the way to Castello di Spedaletto because the driving instructions were incomplete

A great Tuscan location. Better accommodation and better value than many hotel listings on the internet
