Spedaletto (281 metres), in the Val d'Orcia, is a castle with towers and merlons and medieval origins. Arrival from Florence and North highway A1: Exit "Firenze Certosa". Take the motorway "Firenze - Siena" and from Siena continue on the state road "Cassia" towards Rome. When you arrive at "Bagno Vignoni", you leave the "Cassia" road and take the provincial road (n°53) which leads to "Chianciano Terme". After about 3 km there is "Spedaletto". Arrival from Rome and Sud: highway A1, exit at "Chiusi" and take the road to "Chianciano Terme". Go trough the town and take the provincial road (n°53) which leads to "Bagno Vignoni". Along this road, before you arrive at "Bagno Vignoni", you will find "Spedaletto". Distances from the main centres (about): Pisa 130 km, Lucca 175 km, Siena 60 km, Firenze 120 km, Rome 180 km. |
