1-From Florence: follow green A11 highway signs, travelling on this road for approximately 50 minutes. See point 3.
2-From Rome: follow A1 highway in the direction of Florence (Firenze). You will travel along this highway for some time before reaching the slip road for A11 Pisa Nord. Take this highway and travel for approximately 50 minutes. See point 3. |

3-From Highwway A11: take Lucca exit, arriving at the toll station. On exiting toll station you will come to a T-junction, turn RIGHT here and follow road round. You will come to another T-junction, turn right onto this road - Via San Concordio. Continue straight up this road for about 4 minutes, until you see on your right an Agip Garage. Take immediate left sign posted GUAMO/PONTEDERRA. See point 6.
4-From Pisa Airport: follow "Tutte le Direzioni" and then take a right turn direction Firenze (blue sign). Follow this road, taking the first turn right signposted Lucca SS12. Follow Pisa Nord-Est/Firenze, keeping to your right at the V-intersection. Continue to follow signs for Lucca SS12. Keep in right lane as you approach a large roundabout and follow Lucca signs. After about 5 miles take a left turn signposted Lucca and S. Giuliano Terme. Go under aquaduct and straight over. When road ends turn right towards S. Giuliano. Follow road, up a winding hillside, through a tunnel and for a further 5 miles. Just before the Agip Garage on your left, take a right turn sign posted GUAMO/PONTEDERRA. See point 6.
5-From Milan: take A1 highway towards Bologna/Parma. Turn right before Parma exit towards La Spezia A15. At La Spezia turn left towards Livorno/Genova then at Viareggio follow signs to Lucca/Pisa. Take Lucca exit - after this exit you arrive at a T-junction (with traffic lights) turn left. Carry on going straight until you reach a Lucca sign - turn left. You will go over a bridge, take first turning on your right after bridge - there will be a sign marked Centro. Carry on going until you reach a roundabout - follow it halfway round (if roundabout was not there you would carry on going directly straight). Head for Centro. You will get to traffic lights and the old walls of Lucca should be directly in front of you. Turn right at these traffic lights - now you will be following signs for Pisa. After turning right, get immediately into left hand lane and follow signs to Pisa. Turn right, go over the bridge and carry on going straight. You will pass a Q8 service station on the right and will then come to another T-junction, turn right onto this road - Via San Concordio. Continue on this road for about 4 minutes, until you see an Agip Garage on your right. Take immediate left sign posted GUAMO/PONTEDERRA. See point 6.
6-From Guamo: follow the road straight ahead and turn right just before the BMW garage called Lucar, following signs to Vorno. You will reach a fork in the road, take the left hand side fork, to Vorno. Follow the road around lots of bends. You will pass Badia di Cantignano' s church on your left. Take the first road on your left after the church. Casale Sodini is right on the corner beside a small stream.
