And the main staff member, Simone, was a delight.

The price was less than expected because the staff was very kind in not being strict about exact payment for time on the internet.

Because we arrived late in the evening, there was a welcome note waiting for us, all very clear and everything was in place.

A very homely, welcome and relaxing atmosphere with very frienly and helpfull staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The location was perfect for traveling around the area.

A great place to stay. It was the highlight of our trip. Perfect location to explore the countryside surrounding Siena & Chianti.

I do not believe the website stated that Casa Vacanze Sisti had fireplaces (including wood), and a jacuzzi.

Casa Vacanze Sisti was very confortable and well located. The staff was extremly helpful and friendly. The villa was well laid out, and had lovely views. I would hihly recommend this hotel to any of my friends.

The property was in a high grade as it was described in the Internet portal, except for the location. The description and photos gave an impression of a totally rural environment, while in reality the place lies close to a cluster of 'block of flats' houses, quite urban in character. Moreover, there is road with much traffic (also at night) some 50 meters from the house. I did not react to that, but my wife had problems with sleeping because of the traffic noise.

A beautiful place, high standard, extremely clean, nice and helpful staff.
Minus: Not suitable for persons sensitive to traffic noise in summer.
Very little possibility to walk and stroll in the neigbourhood (foot paths lacking)
Generally: very satisfied.

Directions to the place, and state specifically that it is in Colle Val D'Elsa, and not really in the Empoli area as we had misunderstood.

This is a wonderful place to stay and would highly recommend it. It is great for families and couples the staff where very helpful in anything that we asked. I would go back in a flash. This is a great place to stay to see the sights of Florence and siena etc. Our children aged 5 & 7 loved it espically the diving board.

Checking out was painless. Simona was brillant and great at speaking english which was a big bonus.

there is loads of eating places around the premises that we were surpised with eg tables and chairs with great views. Also the diving board was a great bonus for my kids.

Mr. Sisti, the owner, greated us since his receptionist did not work on Saturday. He is very attentive to detail and made us feel very welcomed. The apartment was very clean, comfortable and charming. It was a very good experience.

Charming. In every direction there is something to see to remind you of the beauty of Tuscany. The flowers, view from the pool, well-arranged antique farm implements and bright, spacious rooms in the apartments. The owner is a true gentleman.

My husband mentioned to me that the villa needs new sofas in the living area. Tha ones there now must be 40 years old and yu can feel the wood through the cushions not a very pleasant place to sit and talk over our wonderful day and plan for the next day thanks

Very nice farmhouse, a lot of space. The floors were rather dirty however - owners should consider a better cleaning service.

Villetta Casa Sisti is next to a busy road leading to Volterra, and can get quite noisy at times, especially on Sunday night as Italians drive home after the weekend. This is our only complaint.

The room was very nice - but not quiet - the neighbors above us were quite plain to hear - not only the talking - which of course could be heard with the windows open -this is to be expected - but all movement of chairs, walking, things falling to the floor were very loud. Otherwise - our stay was very good.

Excellent location to visit Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Volterra - and don't forget Colle - they really should mention the city of Crystal on the website. And also perhaps the excellent wine tasting evening they arranged at Casa Vacanze Sisti.

Villa unfortunately next to hairpin bend on very busy road, so quite a lot of noise of traffic. This did not apply to swimming pool, and may well not apply to apartments, which are further away from the road.

Lovely property and accommodations. Great for families - pool, volleyball, ping pong, etc. Ideal location for day trips to Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, etc. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. We would definitely stay at Casa Vacanze Sisti again!
