We thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay at Hotel Sette Querce. The accomodations were spacious, clean, and comfortable. We stayed in the Landscape suite which requires walking up several flights of stairs but the view and sense of privacy were well worth it. We had several meals at restaurant Daniella and they were fabulous. Daniella's husband took us back to the kitchen one morning and had one of his employees show us the traditional way of making pasta. We wanted to have an early lunch! The town of San Casciano is a laid-back small town in souther Tuscany and a wonderful place for us to relax after a 10 day trip. It is well sited for day trips to Montalcino/ Montepulciano , and the various spa towns in the area as well as Umbria. We recommend it highly.

Even a bowl of fruit as a special welcome. ... We're biased since it was our second stay with more to come. ... We feel like family after staying at Daniela's hotel and enjoying her restaurant. ... More about the thermal baths nearby. ... Exquisite decor in a corner of Tuscany that is out of the normal tourist loop. We'd almost like to keep it a secret.

the terms and conditions do not apply always when booking at last minute. ... i prefer booking by e-mail ... It is hard to communicate the charming atmosphere which surrounds sette querce including the relaxdness and tranquility of the village ... that the village is not crowded by tourists and the village has kept is true italian atmospehere

This is a fabulous little gem of a hotel. It is gorgeous and quaint and we absolutely loved staying at Sette Querce (which means 'seven oaks'). We stayed at all four and five star hotels on this, our first trip to Italy, and Sette Querce and the Tuscany region were our favorite place!!

Daniela, the owner, was fabulous. Such a sweet and hospitable lady. We had a very short stay and would have liked to stay longer. She owned a few restaurants as well. The Restaurant Daniela had wonderful food and we ate there for both dinner and lunch the next day. I would definately stay there again. ... It was a beautiful, quaint hotel set in a small, pretty town in the south of Tuscany. Our room was decorated beautifully with a spacious terrace where we could put our feet up and relax with a tasty bottle of wine.

We were welcomed very politely by Marco Goracci. His knowledge of the English language was perfect, which made us feel at home.
... The thermal bath at Fonteverde is exquisite.
... I would recommend it.

We were very impressed by the courteous staff they were very helpful to us. We were unable to get a taxi or bus to where we wanted to go while staying at the hotel and we were given a ride from someone at the hotel. They were extremely pleasant as was everyone around the hotel. It was so nice to be somewhere that everyone is so friendly and welcoming. ... We very much enjoyed our stay, however it would have been helpful to know that it is hard to get around without having a car. The taxi in the town is on a reserve only basis, and the bus runs few and far in between. Also horseback riding is mentioned as being close to the hotel and it is, however it should be mentioned its better to make reservations, we wenet there hoping to do that and we couldnt because they were full for that day, and were told it would have been better to make reservations, if the website would have mentioned that we probably would have been able to do so.
Again, I would also like to mention that we were so impressed by the people and how friendly and helpful they were at the hotel and around the town that it really made our stay so much more pleasant. Thank you ... We really enjoyed our room, and the privacy that we had with it, it was very spacious and clean and very accomidating, and the breakfast served in our room was fanctastic.

We have stayed at Hotel Sette Querce twice now, and have thoroughly enjoyed our stay each time. ... Hotel Sette Querce is a really wonderful small hotel, with beautifully integrated designs in each room. Especially compared to many other hotels in Italy, it is a special and memorable place in which to stay. The affiliated Ristorante Daniela is a highlight for us each time we visit.

The thing that was differtent than we'd expected was the use of the kitchen: the kitchen was very big and lovely, but there were no cooking facilities. One could only use it to make coffee or tea actually. It would have been nice to be able to use it a bit more, for making a simple pasta for lunch 'at home' or so... Another detail: the outside furniture was not very clean, totally the opposite off the rest of the hotel that was very lovely, clean and well kept. ... A lovely and quit place looking over a beautifull small tuscan village. For the days we spend here it was really our 'mini-home', with all the comfortable fascilities of an hotel but with the privacy off staying in a well decorated, rented appartment.

Very welcoming. Showed us around rooms, which was helpful. ... Overall, great experience. Only disappointing thing was breakfast (only 1 cup of coffee, and although there are coffee making facilities in the room, there was no cream for coffee; also coffee making facilities in room were for instant coffee, filter coffee would be much better) ... Fantastic hotel, romantic, stylish, with old world charm, and the town of San Casciano dei Bagni is lovely. Definitely worth visiting.

The room, though satisfactory, had been closed up and had a bad smell. It needed a good airing.

The hotel was quite far from the mainy road and it would have been helpful if the online directions had indicated this. ... None ... Good clean accomodations with helpful staff located in a beautiful town in Tuscany.
