The farmhouse extends on 12 hectares. There's the asphalt road as far as the main entrance and here it's possible to go for trekking or trips by bike. This farm produces a very good olive-oil.
A lot of new vineyards have been planted for the production of wines like "Vino Nobile di Montepulciano" and "Rosso di Montepulciano".

Each of the recently renovated apartments has its own terrace and garden furniture and has been furnished with local antiques to create a country manor atmosphere in a country cottage location. The owner and his wife are absolutely charming and keep well stocked cellar of the local wine and oil.

Besides in the farmhouse "Il Serraglio" it picks the high-quality white truffles (Tuber magnatum Pico). To just five minutes in Montepulciano the tennis fans can find a very equipped sport area. The pool, 16x6 mt, with its Jacuzzi and Roman steps has been terraced with travertine marble and a blend of cotto and local stone, the quality of the whole restoration, shines through and gives an air of exclusivity to a Tuscan experience bar none.
Local small towns like Monticchiello, a true gem at 9 km, and Montepulciano at 2 km is extensive. The owners would also remand trips to Chianciano 5 km and Orvieto 35 km for days to remember.
The Valdichiana and the Valdorcia are territories in which there are important centres for the art testimonies and for the medieval history. On the side of Valdichiana there are Etruscan cities like Montepulciano rich of medieval churches and monuments (works of Sangallo, Vignola, Peruzzi, Michelozzo etc...) beyond other famous centres like Cortona and Chiusi.
On the side of the Orcia: Pienza, S.Quirico and Radicofani are on the Via Cassia that for a wide side identifies with the ancient Via Francigena; without neglecting other less known villages but equally rich of fascination like Monticchiello, Castiglioncello del Trinoro, Montefollonico, Foce and Castelluccio.
History and Art are therefore two big poles of cultural and tourist attraction, which we need to add an other element, the thermal waters: Bagno Vignoni, Terme S. Filippo e San Casciano in Val d'Orcia; Terme S. Albino and Chianciano on the Valdichiana side.
There is a fourth element imposing in the last years: the nature and the enchanting sceneries constituted from the "crete senesi" and the marvellous ways of cypresses, that have made famous Tuscany in the world.

If lots of people come to visit these places, and often they remain, it is why still today the landscape is the same that you find in the works of the big painters from '300 to '500, that withdrew this landscape as it was. The country like the architecture of our city can be considered work of art. We need to mention also our local oeno-gastronomical aspect that is characterized by the production of famous wines like "Nobile" and "Rosso" of Montepulciano, "Brunello" and "Rosso" of Montalcino, "Chianti" and "Bianco" Valdichiana combined with typical dishes of the ancient Tuscan kitchen: "bruschetta", "pici", "ribollita", beefsteak of "chianina" and other numerous specialties that you can taste in the restaurants of the zone.
