We used a GPS to find the hotel. ... Our room was lovely - housekeeping was not the best. Would leave dirty glasses in the room. Very dusty also ...
Beautiful, peaceful, everything we hoped it would be and more. The front desk and the manager could not have been more helpful to us with any and all of our needs. We look forward to returning in the future.

The Villa is on the outskirts of siena and can be difficult to find without sat-nav but it's elevated position provides stunning views over Siena centre particularily at night and from the upper bedrooms in the main house [room 43 is the best] The public rooms are dark, dismal and very old fashioned but the dining makes up for this, particularily when outside on the terrace. The food is of a very high quality and the service is also impeccable. Not cheap but worth every euro.

Helpful person at reception, drove car up difficult drive and unloaded luggage ... Staff always polite and accommodating. Staff in the dinning area, especially the manager, was most helpful in explaining the dishes. Had the same meal two nights running, first excellent, the second night disaster. Chef had put in far too much chilli to eat. The manager was very apologetic and offered replacement meal, plus complimentary drinks. ... Would recommend , pleasant, clean, delightful area for dining with good food.

The view was even more breath taking than described; EVERYONE was nice, helpful, gracious! The Scottish man at the reception desk (I wish I knew his name!) was a total riot! The grounds are lovely, breakfast was an event to look forward to each day, having a parking area is a huge help as is the bus being at the end of the drive. We're already planning a return visit with friends!!!!

It was wonderful and the setting was especially beautiful. Their dinner was one of the best of our trip.

We were very happy with the hotel and would definitely stay there again. Our only regret was that our stay was only for one night.

I really can't place blame on anyone with the confusing directions. We plugged the address into our GPS and it still didn't get us all the way to Hotel. The signs EVERYWHERE are confusing, so even if you gave the VERY BEST directions possible, it still would have been difficult to find. ... I had envisioned the Front of the Hotel to be more in the 'countryside' than it was. It actually is on a very busy road, but the picture of the front doesn't show that. It's also on a bus route, which is good for traveling into the City Center of Sienna, but noisy. The property is a bit of an Oasis, surrounded by apartments in the back a Hospital to the West and the City of Siena on the South. But, the property is beautiful and well maintained. And from the upper floors, you get a beautiful view of the countryside in the distance in the back and to the East. ... We paid 10% less than the normal rate which came out to be 275 Euros per night. Translated into US dollars, it's quite a bit more. ... That it is NOT in the heart of the Tuscany Countryside. It is on the edge of Town and it is definitely more urban that rural. But it is a BEAUTIFUL PLACE! ... Very nice, but very expensive.
