• At what time can we check-in and out?
  All accommodations, Check In from 1pm, Check Out before midday.
• Is the price per room/apartment or per person?
  Our prices are per room.
• Is breakfast included in the price and what type of breakfast?
  Breakfast is included in our rates and is served every morning from 7.30 until 10.00 either in the restaurant or during the summer months outside on the terrace.
• Can we settle the bill on arrival?
  Accounts are to be settled on the day of departure.
• Which languages are spoken at the reception?
  You may speak in English, French, German and of course you can practice your Italian with our Receptionists.
• How many floors are there in the building and do you have an elevator (lift) in the building?
  In the main Villa there are three floors, ground floor (reception, restaurant, bar, reading lounge and media room), first floor and second floor. There is an elevator to the two upper floors.
• Are there quiet, private, romantic rooms?
  All rooms are quiet and romantic as the Villa is situated outside the medieval walls, set in its own extensive park and gardens.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a terrace/courtyard?
  Regrettably no rooms or apartments have terraces.
• Do the rooms/apartments have a balcony?
  Some rooms have balconys, some have views onto the gardens, some onto the City and some have pleasant views of the counrtyside.
• Do you have non smoking rooms/apartments?
  No smoking is allowed in any of the public areas in the Villa. There are some non-smoking rooms.
• Is there a TV in the rooms/apartments? Are there international channels (satellite or cable TV)?
  There are televisions in all rooms and a large television for all guests in the media room. There are satellite channels in French, German and English too.
• Is there a telephone with direct dialling in the rooms/apartments?
  Each room has a private telephone with direct dialling.
• Is there air conditioning in the rooms/apartments? Is there any extra charge for this? Is it seasonal?
  All rooms and public areas are air conditioned, there is obviously no extra charge.
• Do you have an Internet/E-Mail point in the Property?
  There is an Internet/Email point available for all our guests.
• Is there a swimming pool? When is it open?
  There is a swimming pool and gardens with loungers and towels, open from late May until... until the end of September.
• Is parking or garage available?
  Parking in our own private carpark is free and secure.
• Where can we rent a car?
  There are the usual Hertz, Avis and Eurocar offices closeby.
• Are there grocery stores or supermarkets in the surroundings?
  Shops are quite closeby.
• Are there vineyards nearby?
  There are lots (some say too many) vineyards closeby, you'll need a car however.
• How far is Florence, Siena, Pisa from the Property?
  Florence is approx. one hour from the Villa, Pisa is realistically 2 hours from Siena and the medieval centre from the Villa is just 2 km.
• Which is the nearest village or town?
  Lots of little villages closeby, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, Montalcino, Pienza and Chianti too (Castellina, Radda Gaiole)...
• Which is the nearest airport?
  The nearest airport to the Villa would be Florence, 70km... Pisa a litte further 120km.
• Do you have a pickup or shuttle service from and to the airport?
  We can arrange pickups from and to any airport.
• Which is the nearest bus-stop?
  The nearest bus-stop is directly in front of the gates our driveway leading up to the Villa.
• Which is the nearest railway station?
  Siena railway station is just 1km from the Villa.
• Is there a fitness center in the Property (Gym, Jacuzzi, Sauna, Turkish bath...)?
  No.
• Are pets welcome?
  Pets, small cats and dogs are welcome.
• Is there a restaurant in the Property?
  We jave a very good restaurant at the Villa (closed on Wednesdays however).
• Can I connect my modem so that I can surf the Internet from my room/apartment?
  You may connect your computer to the telephone line in your room. Cable access downstairs in the media room.
