 The Hotel Terme di Saturnia, located at the foot of the town of Saturnia in the heart of Tuscany, is an original restored building made of travertine stone, surrounded by an age-old park. This four-star hotel includes 140 rooms, 65 of which are junior suites, the refined Villa Montepaldi Restaurant and the Garden Buffet Restaurant, a large and bright lounge with Piano Bar, a conference room for up to 80 people, a well-equipped gym and the Institute of Thermal Medicine and Scientific Cosmetology. Furthermore, in addition to the thermal spring and the four thermal pools, there is one tennis court, a snack bar, the Art Gallery and a boutique. |
 The guests of the Terme di Saturnia may choose, according to their personal requirements, various solutions specifically designed to answer problems of different types. In addition to the Thermal Program, the Diet Program, Aquarelax and the Remise en Forme Program, Terme di Saturnia offer specialized programs aimed at alleviating pathologies typical of our everyday life, such as the Toning and Cellulite Program, the Program for Men, the Total Beauty Program and the Anti-Aging Program. |
 For those visitors with little time on their hands, Day Spa Saturnia allows guests to enjoy a day filled with well-being and relaxation. Furthermore, throughout the year, we organize special initiatives according to themes, such as golf clinics, make-up classes, New Age courses and art weeks, enabling our guests to remember their stay with us as a unique experience. The new thermal pool has been inaugurated in June 2001. It is 1,500 meters large and is equipped with vascular courses having both warm and cold water. The water comes from a subterranean spring that lies at a depth of 200 meters and has been gushing out for 3000 years at a constant temperature of 37°C from a natural crater in front of the hotel. |
 The future will see the considerable expansion of the Maremman resort. By 2003 we foresee the construction of an 18-hole golf course. Set in one of the vastest natural oasis of the Maremma, the Saturnia Country Lodge, with its 18 bedrooms, is a quiet country hotel located on a 3,000-acre natural reserve that is home to a variety of the regions typical animal wildlife. |
 The property is at the moment undergoing major restoration works. The investment plan also foresees the enlargement of the Country Lodge, which will be transformed into a 110-room structure in perfect country-chic style. The Terme di Saturnia Group also includes the country Relais "La Stellata", an ancient country house with 12 rooms that by the end of 2003 will double its capacity. |
 In the course of the years the Terme di Saturnia has received many public acknowledgements. In 1996 the American magazine "Spa Management" awarded the Terme di Saturnia recognition in the category "Mineral Spring Spa"; two years later the Hotel Terme di Saturnia received the prestigious award of l'Hotellerie Italiana, the "Hotel of the Year Prize" in the category Health and Well-being centers; in 2000 the American magazine "Travel and Leisure" included the Terme di Saturnia among the finest ten spas in the world, and the first in Italy. |
